PTCevolution - script with interesting *cough**cough* features

Today at 2:00pm Alert Board Moderator about this Post! Mark & Quote Quote Modify Remove  By curiosity I looked into PTCevolution, to see how it compared to Buxhost. It seems there's no hosting, only the script. But aside from that, I clicked on one license to see the features it had.

Among the many popular features like "Revenue Shares", "Clixgrid Clone", "Offerwall" and so on, this one caught my atention:

"Bot System
Automated referral system where admin can create referrals and control click values, avarage and much more for each membership"

Yeah... hmmm.... Undecided with scripts like this, do we really wonder if sites with RR use bots or not. That brings PTCsolution, Nerdbux, etcetera into doubt.

Wow, that's ridiculous. This is another reason to hate rented referrals. Admins have an incentive to cheat since they make their money selling them.

so did you see anything where a site can skim direct referrals from affiliates before they sign up under the affiliate. I have long believed this was possible but have never found definitive proof

I had one site that was consistently singing up a paid referral every 10K hits or so. Then when I started making some good money there, the conversion rate dropped to 1 in 50K and higher. In that site, the admin was personally responsible for placing the referrals under us. When the rate dropped so did my promoting. The glory days for that site are gone.  They definitely aren't promoted any more. I guess they did that to one too many people

Yes, that is true.. I had noticed it in the past when I was yet thinking of getting my own PTC site..
Buxhost doesn't support bots btw..  Also a good way to check is to see how many refs are available
for rent at a time... for example ruicarlov recently rented 1000 refs at PTCSolution.. if the next day
he checks again and sees that there are still 1000 refs available to rent then something stinks.. Smiley

Etc at the moment the site has 154690 members.
We can check back tomorrow to see how many more it will get.

Keep in mind that out of 154690 members more than just one members rent referrals regularly...
If there are usually no referrals to rent in big packs then things are a bit better.. calculating the odds.

However since usernames are masked we can never really know what's happening with rented refs
plus we can never really know how many members a site actually has..

The grids I am using are giving me a good view of each site's activity regardless of the stats they show on their homepage..
I've been thinking of creating a whole grid advertising guide based on these stats.. that could help me attract some advertisers
and have them join in my downlines, raising my earnings through purchase commissions instead of just clicking activity..

And yet my online income is almost entirely dependent on them... At least my main sites have a good reputation. After seeing the "no referrals with 0 clicks" at PTCsolution, suddenly I'm not so confident anymore. Maybe I should have gone the Nerdbux route. Over there it's not always easy to rent refs and profits are more in line with what you'd see at Neo. Sounds more legit.

Seems the 'ptcevolution' domain itself has been hijacked. Many PTC sites weren't opening and the PTCEvolution admins claim that the domain was out of their hands.

Btw, PTCEvolution is not the only one with such interesting features..
I was just checking something on buxhost until I noticed this there as well..
it seems competition always leads to evolution.. one cannot fall behind.. :

Referral bots? So they will automatically place a referral link for you? That is cool...but expensive

I think "referral bots" means "clicking bots", not "link rotator".
