Title: PTCBox.Me Ads Traffic Updates
Post by SolidSnake on 11th Sep, 2013 at 1:35am
Hello, I'd like to dedicate this thread to the PTCBox.Me Ads project.

Within the first month the PTCBox.Me Ads page received more than 90.000 unique hits and served more than 10 advertisers.
In this thread I'm gonna publish major updates related to the traffic.
We are constantly trying to add new sources to our incoming traffic. Here's what we have so far...

PTCBox.Me Ads Page is currently receiving traffic from the Grids of :

1. ClixSense (Over 3,276,000 Members)
2. Twickerz (Over 250,000 Members)
3. The-Bux (Over 142,000 Members)
4. NerdBux (Over 93,000 Members)
5. PTCSolution (Over 26,500 Members)
6. BuxBoost (Over 9,100 Members)

(Audience Summary : Over 3,796,600 Members)

So far the traffic is steady and the site receives more than 3000 hits and ~2700 unique visitors daily.
We will update these stats as we go with the latest data..  :cool1

We've just added PTCSolution to our sources list so we expect another nice boost in the traffic from now on.

I think you can add over there that Twickerz has + 250 000 members. Right now their stats aren't showing, but some months ago they did, and the total member count was getting pretty close to that.

Thanks for the info.. I was wondering why they don't publish that number when it's so important for advertisers.

It looks like PTCSolution was a brilliant choice as well cause yesterday for the first time we broke the 4000 hits
barrier for the first time.. with uniques reaching 3400.. They seem to be amazing results.. I just hope the earnings
will cover the expenses. Another site with an interesting membership growth is GoldenClix.. It says that it currently
has 107136 members.. but unfortunately the grid costs $15 / month which is kinda high to cover for now..

I'll see how things go with the current traffic and probably add it to the list later.

Update on our Alexa Ranking..

I've been noticing lately that despite the heavy increase in traffic my site receives the ranking was still going down.
That has been troubling me and the one thing I found out was that alexa doesn't count the traffic that my subdomains
receives.
Therefore they don't play a part at all in the main domain's alexa ranking!  [smiley=07-whaat.gif]
Yep, that's true.. So I went ahead and made a change there.

The http://ad.ptcbox.me link so far has been pointing to the http://www.ptcbox.me/ad/ folder and opens the index.php file in it.
The PTCBox.Me Ads code was located there. So I made a small change.. Copied it to another file called main.php
and placed a php header redirect link in the index.php. This might sound very technical but in simple words all it does is,
make all the http://ad.ptcbox.me requests in browsers to load the content of the http://www.ptcbox.me/ad/main.php file.

This way all the traffic the Ads page receives will most likely affect the main domain's alexa ranking now.
I'm very curious to see how the alexa rank will be boosted starting from today.. Let's find out! :)

[edit]Today's rank is 322,052[/edit]

Hope it helps. However some would also say not to take Alexa Rankings too seriously.

Still good luck!

Thanks! Why not though?

It's not like it's very important or something, but I've seen a lot of advertisers that religiously rely on it.. (note: I don't..)
If not just attractive, it's good evidence that an owner is not lying about his traffic.

I mean it's pretty easy for me to display dynamic fake stats on my site but alexa isn't lying..

Of course there are many factors that play a part on how good a site's alexa ranking is, and results may vary..
but the general idea is simple enough when it comes to advertisement sales..

If nothing else it's a proven advertising technique that in a weird way affects a part of the human brain..
example : Saying "Brad Pitt drinks Coke, you should too!" usually works better than just saying "Drink Coke!".

Small Update : Ordered another month on the NerdBux Grid (NerdGrid) and updated the screenshot in the ad submission page.
New expiration date : 15th of October 2013.

I wonder why they don't offer more than one month purchase.. I think I'll leave their support a message.

Total visitors received from NerdGrid within a month : 11163

Well, it looks like it didn't work. The ranking dropped even lower to 410,176.

So I'll be re-configuring the directories of all pages within the next hours.

Next time I'll order traffic to the ads page it will be directly to it and not through the sub-domain.

Hopefully this will work.. (Sorry if I'm becoming a bit too obsessed with this.. :()

Another month of Grid Advertising has been ordered on Twickerz. Ad submission page has been updated. Thankfully I got two top banner sales and broke through the expense.

Only The-Bux is now left to renew.

Some summary of traffic details on all of the sites' grids :

ClixSense

2013-07-26 to 2013-08-26 - Total Hits : 24,690 ($0.00081 per hit) - Uniques : 24,052 ($0.00083 per unique) - Cost $20
2013-08-27 to 2013-09-26 - Total hits : 23,999 ($0.00083 per hit) - Uniques : 23,414 ($0.00085 per unique) - Cost $20

Twickerz

2013-07-26 to 2013-08-25 - Total Hits : 47,853 ($0.00031 per hit) - Cost $15
2013-08-26 to 2013-09-25 - Total Hits : 45,150 ($0.00033 per hit) - Cost $15

The Bux

2013-07-26 to 2013-08-25 - Total Hits : 15,011 ($0.0006 per hit) - Cost $10
2013-08-26 to 2013-09-25 - Total Hits :  8,682 ($0.0008 per hit) - Cost $7

NerdBux

2013-08-14 to 2013-09-13 - Total Hits : 11,163 ($0.0004 per hit) - Cost $5

BuxBoost

2013-08-29 to 2013-09-29 - Total Hits : 7,183 ($0.00139 per hit) - Cost $9.99

I'll update these stats as we go.

[edit]Update 1 (2013-09-27) : As we can see The Bux seems to be the worse advertising solution so far as it's the most expensive
and has pretty low activity when it comes to Grid clickers.. So I'm on the look for a new option.

Update 2 (2013-10-02) : And.. we've got a new winner of the worst position.. :)[/edit]

I was doing a small quality check of the Ads page to see how many actual clicks it receives and here are the latest week's stats as monitored by the StatCounter widget :

It looks like the top banners receive a lot more clicks than the rest.
Also the banner design plays a huge part.. there is a lot to learn here..   ::)

That is why they call the area you see when you click on the site prime real estate. For most people, it is the only part of your site they will see, so it has to make the connection or the rest doesn't matter

It's still weird as the low resolution of 800x600 used by some small tablets only the visitor is able to see 4 rows of banners which is half of them. However the top 2 banners receive close to 2.5x more clicks (100+ vs ~40 per week) than the second row. I'm now a bit curious to see how many sign ups the advertiser of the top left banner ad received by this campaign.. :)

Here is a great update.. I contacted Twickerz admin through the forum and let them know that I would like to purchase long term Grid advertising, and since their largest pack was 1 month / $15, I suggested that they added larger packs probably with discounts. The admin replied almost a few hours afterwards and immediately implemented it offering 90 days for $35 which is currently the best possible PTC grid advertising solution! Of all the PTCs in my list it offers the largest amount of traffic daily and now it will only cost me $11,66 / month. This is really nice from them.

I purchased the 90 days pack for $35 and now the ads page will receive stable traffic from Twickerz until January 22nd.
I think I'll now pass this suggestion to all the PTC grids I'm advertising on.. :)

The ad submission page has been updated as well.

Yes, I noticed your little request back at the Twickerz forum. Definitely a good deal for you. Still bummed that grid ads never generate comissions  ;), but they seem to be working will with this kind of model.

Sorry to hear that and it's really kinda non sense that they don't..
It's absolutely pure profit to them.. they practically spend nothing to offer those ads.. (the prizes are relatively low compared to their total sales earnings) so they should be generous enough to offer commissions on those sales.. I'm thinking of implementing such a system for my own site in the future.. (that's far far from present though, as I'm not ready yet to provide a safe platform for that.. lots of things to learn)

Good thing is that they generate commissions to me at least.. through sales. :P
Either way twickerz offers a great value for money advertising option now.

Renewed Scarlet-Clicks for 8 more months at the price of $35 ($5 discount over the base price).
Last month it delivered 21044 visitors to my site so I think it's a good deal.
I'm now ok with them until July 15th, 2014. I hope his site stays alive till then..  :moneyeyes
I'll have to add a couple more traffic sources to my list to cross 10.000 visitors / day..  :phew

Hello SolidSnake,

Just making a suggestion that may add another potential solid source of traffic to the Ads page.
This may be a potential consideration for you. I have yet to try this myself but thought I'd make a mention.

The Site is Rotate 4 All. Offering for a small fee fixed full ads rotated on various PTC sites. This would save a lot of money if one was to run fixed on various PTC sites. The sites notes "All sites in the rotator get equal amount of exposure, guaranteed."

They currently running as a Fixed ad on the following sites:
NeoBux, GoldenClix, Twickerz, Cashadda, CashOns, LegacyClix, Succss Bux, GPT Planet, Ads Clickers, Scarlet Clicks & ProBux.

Current prices on their site:
1 Day - $10
7 Days - $55 (Save $15)
30 Days - $215 (Save 85)

Link below.

Thanks

One of the beautiful things about clixsense is it's intense tracking so what I'm going to do is run a one day test ad in this to see how many clicks I get. The signups are not as important but at least this way we can see how many page views this produces. I will report back my results

Na, your all good there.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Much appreciated.

I know. Would save a few thousands of dollars of running fixed advertising on various PTC sites.

Unfortunately they do not offer affiliate link, would be cool if they offered it.
Just through the link I noted on my post.
Just click on the order form button and place the order that's it.

That would for sure get you a good few thousands of visitors to the ad you run with them for per day.Would for sure help as a solid source of traffic and has the possibility to get potential referrals/sales from the service.

I have run a test ad on clixsense before they do have good visitor tracking when I tried it out a while back. Despite my ad was run for a very short time didn't get conversions (my guess results would be a bit better if the ad was run for a longer period) but it did help improve my websites alexa ranking in the short run.

All good.

Could you give us an update on how things are going with all "your" grids, namely daily visitors, cost-per-click and %unique hits?

Another thing I'm curious about. With so many traffic sources, do you have an idea how much overlap there is in you visits? (like same IP viewing the page from multiple sites)

That info has always been public here :
http://ptcbox.me/adv/ad/#traffic_stats

If you scroll down you can see the current incoming traffic sources and when each one expires.

Plus from time to time I post here how many clicks the banners receive weekly.
Top banners receive ~70 clicks per week each.. I'm happy with the activity.. :)

I'm still away from home and I'll return on Tuesday btw.
So, I'm posting from my new smartphone now.

:)[/edit]

Oh, sorry. I meant an update of these kind of calculations, to see which sites have been more cost-effective.

Oh, you're right.. I was supposed to update them.

PTCSolution Grid (140.000+ members) costs me $4 / month and delivers ~30.000 visitors / month.
-> Average cost : $0,000133 / click

Nerdbux Grid (245.000+ members) costs $5 / month and it delivers ~20.000 visitors / month.
-> Average cost : $0,00025 / click

Twickerz Grid (214.000+ members) offered a promo pack recently for 100 days @ $24 and they usually deliver ~50.000 visitos / month!
-> Average cost : $0,000144 / click

ClixSense Grid (~3.5 million members) - I got the 2 months pack so it's $19 / month and delivers ~24.000 visitors / month.
-> Average cost : $0,000791 / click (I wish this one was cheaper.. maybe I will go for the larger packs once I can afford it)

Probux Grid costs $12 / month and delivers ~25.000 visitors / month
-> Average cost : $0,00048 / click

Clixten Grid - I got a special deal with the admin there and he offered 1 year of Grid Advertising @ $30.. it delivers ~15.000 visitors / montn (not including its growth after one year from now..)
-> Average cost : $0,000166 / click

ScarletClicks Grid (160.000+ members) - I got 6 months for $35 (well he now offers 8 months at that price but anyways).. it delivers ~20.000 visitors / month (not including its growth after six months from now..)
-> Average cost : $0,00029165 / click

Cashadda had a good offer recently of 100.000 PTCs at the price of $17.50 and it can deliver ~30.000 visitors / month.
-> Average cost : $0,000175 / click

These stats are from a record I kept on December 19th.

The rates are variable enough but I hope this gives a good overview of the deals I'm interested in.
Basically I'm aiming anything below $0.0002 / click as it seems to be a great offer for my needs.

Thanks for sharing. This may also be useful for me, when I need some cheap traffic. I recently found a PTP site which may be able to use this effectively.

Renewed Probux Grid for another month.
This month I received ~29100 visitors from them so it's kind of an increase on the ~24000 visitors that they sent me the previous month.

At 29048 clicks/month the cost is : $0,000413 / click
It's not the best but it's a good value for money.

[edit]Thankfully they approved my ad with the first attempt this time..  :handsdown
Looks like they actually did something about it.. :)[/edit]

GlobalBux Grid added to the incoming traffic sources.
I decided to test how much traffic they deliver for a month.
If it's worth it then I'll probably buy their discounted 6-months pack at ~$5/month.

Some major updates on the Ads page traffic :

We've finally crossed 10.000 visitors / day, hitting 300.000 page views / month!
That's a great milestone to achieve and we're constantly gaining ground over time.  [smiley=12-party.gif]

More programs have been added to our list lately and more are to be added in the future.
Our latest additions are :

OldBux, GlobalBux and Bucks247.

We will soon add some sites from the Golden group on our list boosting the traffic even more.
Also and we're open for suggestions provided they qualify for our list, based on our requirements.

Feel free to suggest new programs here.

Also "The-Bux.net" has been removed from our list as the traffic they deliver does not justify their cost.
Next milestone will be 20.000 visitors / day!

I find it somewhat bizarre that out of the two ojoo banner ads, the top one has less than half the hits of the middle one. The banners are the same, so does that mean that the text overcame the disadvantage of the positioning and completely surpassed it?

On another note, it's become somewhat impossible to advertise at the best positions of your page now.  :o
The top positions booked until May and June? Look who's popular.... ;)

Aw, well. I'll try to cook up a banner when I have the time. Maybe I'll still be able to use L4.

Did I post this already? Probably. The average person spends four seconds on your site. That is how long you have in order to win their attention before the next squirrel comes along. That is why splash pages are so popular and why it is very important to get people's attention right away(which explains why I use red in my splash page)

Well, remember the screenshot shows the last 10 days clicking activity.
The banner at SpotL1 was activated on 2014-01-27, and the banner at SpotR3 on 2014-01-26.. so that explains the difference. ;)

Adding up to this, in the SpotL1 there was this banner leading to the makeeffortlessincome.com link placed by our VIP Sponsor Mr. Jacknz and it got 56 clicks in 7 days.

He's an awesome banner designer btw and 4 of the banners on the ads page are his (they even have his signature on.. :P).
Jacknz has helped me a lot with raising the ads page traffic and definitely deserves his good results.

Not a problem SolidSnake.
Glad to be supporting this. Thanks much appreciated am glad to hold the VIP Sponsor badge.
Am happy that my contributions has helped to get more traffic to the ads page.

Congrats for the Ads page crossing those visitor numbers noted on your earlier post.

Slot 1 Ad I have had quite a lot of clicks from that banner pointing to the noted site.

I must add that the customs banners I have with my avatar image on my active slots are not designed by me but I paid someone to design for me. Was well worth the price I paid for to have them made.

He only offers mainly banner designing service, but he also offers cheap banner advertising deals that you can check out on his site (Network Banner Advertising and Specific Banner Advertising) for a few PTC sites.

I'm asking this because PTCSolution doubles their Grid prices. What's worse, last month I only got 16000 visits. Did you still get close to 30000?

Yes there was a drop in their grid traffic, according to my tracking, I got ~18000 visitors from January 5th to February 5th..

I think it's the recent PayPal issues that caused a lot of people to give up on the site..
Maybe that's why he could afford to run some fixed ads promos to raise some budget recently..

Basically the way it was PTCSolution was way too cheap for the traffic it delivered.. and as the admin had told me
he was about to stabilize it by raising his prices a bit.. well it's still cheap enough compared to other grids.. :

18000 visitors @ $8 equals to $0,00044 per visitor..

And let's not forget the potential of them getting raised again after people realise that the program is still here,
with PayPal payments re-enabled and still #1 at EMS..

Anyway, I'm about to give GoldenClix a try now with 3 months and maybe also SilverClix too.. I hope that would fill the gap... :)

I've just renewed grid traffic for another month on GlobalBux and ProBux.

GlobalBux has proved to be an amazing addition to my list having delivered 41460 visitors at the low cost of only $5.95.
That is $0,0001435 cost per visitor!

Probux delivered 29081 which is not bad but not the best for its price ($12).
That equals to $0,0004126 cost per visitor.

Are those click stats only for the banners? Because I think I'm seeing my text ad link there, which has got as much hits as the banner ad which has been running for a while longer.

Yes the Featured Links are also included but don't take their clicks seriously because I'm still testing them.
I sometimes clicked them myself to see if they all work fine.. so those clicks include mine as well.
But it seems that the red flashing banner definitely does mind control once again..

It's not just the banner. $1 per click is a pretty high rate and people are naturally going to be curious. especially people who know the going rate

I think it's the combination of both..

First the red flashing attracts the eye.. then the "$1 per click" locks it there.. the banner is irresistable..
It's displayed in the middle of the page and still has double the clicks of any of the top banners.. :)

GoldenClix has been added to our incoming traffic sources.
We purchased 3 months of Grid Advertising @ $30 and it already seems to be leading ~2000 more visitors daily to our Ads page.

Coming up next is SilverClix and LegacyClix. I'm currently in communication with their admins..
(SilverClix has the same admin as GoldenClix so I guess we'll get a good 3 month deal as well)

Also, PTCSolution Grid has been renewed for 2 months and we've added a 10.000 clicks PTC campaign on ConstantBux.

We're now back to 10.000+ visitors daily.   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I've sent them a support ticket and they will probably bring it back.

My campaign there ends on May so I didn't check in for sometime now..
However I've checked with my trackers and I'm receiving traffic from them normally even as inactive.

I'll try to set a day each month to log in every single program I'm using so that I prevent my accounts
from being inactivated.. It kinda sucks to get removed from a site when you are only investing money in it..

This rule is against their own benefit.. there should be some middle path instead of just getting an account disabled.

Update on Bucks247..

Quote:
Dear SolidSnake,

thank you very much for your message. I have searched for your specified username and email address but I was unable to find your account. Our system automatically deletes inactive accounts as per our Terms of Service and I am not able to restore accounts which have been deleted because of inactivity. You are free to register a new account with another email address but that is all I can offer. Please take my apologies.

"Also is there any way for us to automatically get notified when we have not logged in for a long time through email?"
Unfortunately this kind of feature is not available as of now. However, in order to avoid your account from being deleted please click 1 Advertisement once every 3 months. Just logging in to your account will not mark your account as active.

If you have any further questions or problems concerning Bucks 24/7 please do not hesitate to contact us by sending another support ticket.

Best Regards,
Tim
Bucks 24/7 support

Just quoting it all for everyone to be aware of the situation there..

Not only I have to log in but also to click ads to keep my account and they can't even restore it?!?
That's pretty messed up support in my opinion...

Hopefully I can still rejoin under rui again..
The funny thing is that my campaign is still active there as I'm still receiving visitors from them normally..

Yes, they have starting on 1%.
They've got also some interesting memberships that I haven't seen anywhere else. Affiliate membership ($25/year), where you get 10% of the downline's purchases and upgrades, while the click value remains the same for you, and Advertiser membership ($25/year), where all deposits get 10% bonus.

I believe I already talked about these when we were discussing strategies for ConstantBux.

NerdBux is removed from the incoming traffic sources for the Ads page as disqualified due to the recent problems they faced and the change of ownership which marks it as a non reliable deal.. thankfully my campaign there ended on 18th of March and I delayed the renewal so there was no loss in terms of traffic days..

On the other hand I ordered one month of Grid advertising on LegacyClix to fill the gap.
It seems to be delivering good amounts of traffic for its size.

We'll see how good the results will be after a full month and decid whether it's worth renewing or not.
Unfortunately SilverClix admin denied my request for a larger than one month grid deal so it may have to wait,
before it gets added to my list.

I've also contacted ClixNation admin for a good deal.
Let's see how this one will go.. :)

[edit]Also I forgot to mention that I added one month of grid advertising on Cashadda.com as well..
I felt like pushing the Ads page one more step ahead to make the offers even more appealing. :)[/edit]

[edit]Also I forgot to mention that I added one month of grid advertising on Cashadda.com as well..
I felt like pushing the Ads page one more step ahead to make the offers even more appealing. :)[/edit]

Well, since nerdbux is off and GoldenClix may start reducing the traffic I decided to add Lynkar and 99CentsPTC to my incoming traffic sources.

Probux, LegacyClix and Cashadda campaigns have been extended for another month..
I've just noticed that OldBux disappeared a few weeks ago and for just 1 day I missed my chance to open a dispute.. :censored..  [smiley=sad.gif]

I'll check out the rest of the sources and probably add SilverClix in my list soon.

I realized that a downside to Bucks247 AdGrid is that you can't know how many hits you get.
I even sent a support ticket about it, and the admin told me Buxhost still hasn't implemented that option, which means even the admin can't see it.  :-[

Well, since I use my own tracker I can see that I receive ~350 visitors from them daily with 1 ad grid link.

When you're promoting something from your site you can get that kind of data. When you promote something that doesn't belong to you, it can get trickier.
Still, thanks for info. Now I have an idea how much it gets.

Indeed..
Well you can still use custom trackers but you need to be careful to see if it is allowed by their terms..

ClixSense extended for another month..
Stats from the last campaign :

Days : 30
Total Hits : 24,492
Total Unique : 23,778
Cost : $20.00
Cost-per-click : $0,000816

Still kinda expensive but there are not many good traffic sources out there for this price..

33bux.com has been added to the incoming traffic sources of the Ads page..
It's currently offering a 100% bonus on all deposits so it's fairly cheap to purchase advertising.
As for how much it is delivering I will keep you up to date.. it seems that it's < 500 daily visitors
but nonetheless it's still very affordable advertising.

Title: Re: PTCBox.Me Ads Traffic Updates
Post by SolidSnake on 14th May, 2014 at 5:50am
So, I decided to do a summary of all the traffic the PTCBox.Me Ads page receives and I decided to make it on a monthly basis.
That helps out giving an overview of the advertising audience that is offered on the site for the duration of a single month.

Initially I was going to collect all the data and post it here but based on the tools I already have I would have to do it one by one, write them down and probably do some calculating on them to get differences and percentages. That would definitely take a lot of time and I thought why having to do this all over again every month?

Next step was to create an algorithm that collects all the data of the previous 2 months grouped by the traffic source and display them all in a table while adding the totals in the end. I was going to use it publicly but then again I realised that it uses a ton of server resources on every single load so it would eventually crash my server.. lol.

So my final pick was to run it.. keep a screenshot and update it every month. :)

So here we go.. now you can all see the exact amount of traffic each site has delivered to the ads page during the previous 2 months.

As you can see it shows some zero values on services that I wasn't using before April.. Also there is a drop on the traffic mainly due to Nerdbux falling apart.. but it's stabilizing now as you will see in the May's update. We are still very close to our 300.000 visitors per month goal and it takes a little more pushing to cross that. Thankfully sales have been going well and with our new prices it seems that we are going to exceed that goal soon.

No matter what the changes in the PTC industry are I will try to keep it stable to those levels and probably improve it as we go.
This method has been working great so far and keeps the site on a constantly climbing curve. Just like the ancient Romans would say... "We expand or we die!"  [smiley=lolx.gif]

PS. A few weeks ago I was changing some settings on the statcounter and managed to mess the system up so I don't have exit links activity until 2-3 days ago.. Thankfully things are ok now and clicking activity monitoring is back to normal. I will share some of them as they stack up probably after a week... The ad submission page has also been updated with all the latest screenshots except Probux.. they stil haven't approved my ad so it will be updated probably tomorrow.

Oh, one more thing.. I have extended all expired programs today so I expect a good traffic boost during the next days. Let's see.. :)

ClixNation.com has been added to the PTCBox.Me Ads page's incoming traffic sources.
Due to a good deal there we were able to add 6 months of grid advertising at once so it's a good long term addition to our list.

SilverClix has also been added to the list of incoming traffic sources since 2014-05-17 and I kinda forgot to mention that..
Also just like I promised here is the latest 10 days top clicking activity on the ads page :

Title: Re: PTCBox.Me Ads Traffic Updates

It seems that clicking is still going well normally even if there are some downs in the traffic summary..
Here is an update on the visitors' clicking activity during the last week :

Btw, I've renewed LegacyClix Grid for one month and added one month fixed ad on Cashadda.
It's a weird thing.. no matter how many sources I add it seems that the traffic is still dropping badly some times..

Title: Re: PTCBox.Me Ads Traffic Updates
Post by SolidSnake on 2nd Jun, 2014 at 2:34am
May 2014 is over so here is how the PTCBox.Me Ads page traffic has been compared to the previous month :

(Numbers mean visitors)

Notes :

ClixSense and Scarlet-Clicks showed a nice increase in their traffic delivering this month.
We can notice a big drop in GoldenClix, Twickerz, GlobalBux and Clikit which is kinda disappointing..
LegacyClix was not extended immediately after expiring and that explains the huge drop.. it's not them.. it's on us.
We now run a fixed ad on Cashadda and hopefully we will be able to add more fixed ad campaigns in the future.

We hope that with the latest additions we will cross our 300.000 visitors goal during June..
Feel free to share your thoughts here. :)

Title: Re: PTCBox.Me Ads Traffic Updates
Post by SolidSnake on 2nd Jun, 2014 at 11:43pm
I'm thinking of removing ClixSense from my incoming traffic sources now as it is highly overpriced..
For example GoldenClix delivers double its traffic at half its price..
Other sites deliver close to the same amount of ClixSense's traffic at half or even less than half its price..

Even if I purchase the longest possible pack that costs $100, the price is still way too expensive for that
amount of traffic ($16.6/month) so it is not a good deal for the PTCBox.Me Ads page goals.

With that in mind I decided to extend GoldenClix for another half a year at $50 (that is $8.33 / month).
I will try to purchase the longest ad pack durations from now on whenever possible..

Thanks for being here! :)

Another update :

After getting in touch with SilverClix admin they decided to add 3 months duration on their Grid Packs so I have now added a 3 month campaign there at a $5 discount..  :cool1

Also added AdzPot to the list of incoming traffic sources. Their PTC advertising is relatively cheap there so I used PTC credits for this campaign.

It looks like the Zigma Network is the largest part of my traffic delivering these days. Why not their prices are the best and they are well crowded so they do deliver..   [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Let's see how it will go! :)

So since the new tracking system is enabled now there will be no need to post the exit links of the ads page from now on.
We will post monthly statistics from our own tracker based on the spots and not on the ad that is displayed.

So here are the clicking activity of the past 10 days :

We have been facing trouble with the FuseBux guys since they still haven't activated our grid ad there.
We've been trying to reach their support but it seems that they have been really bad at that..

Also LegacyClix has been extended for 3 months.

I have added 3 more traffic sources on my list, adsclickers, resbux and grandclick..
Probux has expired and their PayPal is under maintenance so I can't resume that campaign..

The weird thing is that no matter the fact that I keep on adding new sources the traffic keeps dropping.
That makes no sense.. either more people are on vacation these days either more stop clicking over time..

That's discouraging if not annoying.. :(

Are you using paidsvert? I really like their 'get $1.55 in earnings for every $1 in advertising spent' feature. If you combine that with a good filter rate (I'm using 1.5 cents because I'm lazy) you can generate a lot of traffic for your campaigns and also compound your earnings nicely.

I have over 200,000 BAP there due to my referring when they were handing our referral BAP bonus points but that usually allows for a $1 ad each day plus some little ones. It is nice that I can earn over $1 in clicking with just a few minutes work each day

That's interesting, the price of 50 PTCs @ $1 seemed quite expensive, but I didn't know I would be able to get that with a profit through clicking.. and from what I read by paying $10 for an upgrade you only get higher value ads so it doesn't take a lot of time clicking per day since my time is quite limited lately.. I got that job btw! It's PHP oriented and I start on Monday.

Cool on the job. did you have to do the SS on any of them to get it?  ;D
We're not going to be hearing about you in the news are we?

I haven't bought any of the upgrades, just the filtering but I'm getting a lot of money per day from the site due to my BAP level and referrals so I don't know if it pays back but they claim to and no one on the site is complaining about that. I suppose a support ticket could sort that out

Take today for example. I have 12 ads. 1 for $1, 1 for 10 cents and the rest for three cents. So I shouldn't be at this for more than 10 minutes

I'd suggest starting with referring. It will start your cash flow right away as soon as you get an active referral. You don't need to click every day to earn income from your referrals. I haven't upgraded and I'm still not sure i need to but building up your BAPs will take you into the higher click earnings, plus it will get you free advertising when your clicks pay off.

Be sure and save up your earnings to get the filter or you'll have all your BAPs be spent on .005 ads and you'll get hundreds of them. With my filter set at 1.5 cents it is perfect for me and I get about 10 per day. most people set theirs at 1 cent and I assume would get more ads. Just remember that each time you set the filter it is going to cost you $10 so be sure you know what level you want before you buy it

By the way, one these days it would be interesting to know the cost-per-click calculations you did a while back. Just to know which sites have better offers per value.

I'm currently developing a mechanism that will show me that exact data for my campaigns..

For now all I can help you with is this :

Btw, I've been wondering if I can add the PTP code from CashNHits on the bottom of my ads page, as a Sponsored Site frame and add a link to allow it to open full in a new window right above it. I've read the rules that do not allow that to happen in a zeroed iframe but can't be sure about my case.. I think that it would get me close to $9 per month if I add it. It's not much but it will pay some bills, and like Dan says, "every little bit helps". :P

Hmm.. That is a nice idea but unfortunately, I don't think it would work..

I have a business Payza account and when I browse to the fees page, it says : 2.50 % + €0.25 EUR when receiving money.
It doesn't specify payment or simple transfer so my best guess is that it's the same for both.

Also currently my contract with Payza has the term that when I receive a payment the money stays locked in my Payza account for a week before I can actually access and use it, so this might not be any different for simple transfers as well..

So, there's no gain in the time factor as well.. if you could recommend another program though that would be cool.

Traffic keeps dropping.. pff.. what is wrong with this inudstry?!?
Anyways, I've added another PTC campaign on MyFreeShares to help boost it up a little bit using a reliable source.
Let's see how it will go and how much traffic it can deliver over time.

Title: Re: PTCBox.Me Ads Traffic Updates
Post by SolidSnake on 16th Oct, 2014 at 2:29am
So, here's a little heads up on the Ads page traffic..

With the Probux, FuseBux, Cashadda, Globalbux fiaskos the site experienced a large traffic drop.
These sites had been delivering ~1000 visitors each before they died..

So, I'm already researching available options to get it back up as close to or above 10000 daily visitors.

I've already extended expired campaigns on Scarlet-Clicks, Bucks247 and added new campaigns on Paidverts.
I have added a 1000hits per day campaign on YouGetProfit.
I have added a 7 day fixed ad on Cashadda (using spare funds in my account there).

I am planning to add MouseBux, FamilyClix and GrandMonopoly to my list since they seem to meet my needs on a good price/quantity ratio. (I've already joined MouseBux and waiting for their "Happy Hour" promo tomorrow)

If someone is a member on FamilyClix or GrandMonopoly please PM me your referral link (I will join through the first one that does so).

Also if someone knows how many clicks BuxVertise delivers through their Grid advertising that would be nice to let me know.
All in all, I will try to find alternative sources as we go, and suggestions are always welcome as well.
(Keeping in mind that I try to stick to less than $0.0005/visitor ratio though).

[smiley=z02-thanks.gif] a lot to all of the advertisers that support the site!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

[edit] We have already added FamilyClix, MouseBux and GrandMonopoly in our sources list.[/edit]

Some more PTCBox.Me Ads page traffic updates :
[list bull-bluecheck]
  • A 1-Month testing MouseBux Grid Ad campaign has been added.
  • A 1-Year GrandMonopoly Grid Ad campaign has been added.
  • A 2000 visitors/day - YouGetProfit PTP Ad campaign has been added.
  • A 500 visitors/day - AdzPot PTC Ad campaign has been added.
  • Cashadda has been shutdown so we have removed it from our sources list.
  • SilverClix monthly traffic has dropped below the acceptable levels that justify its price, so we will not renew our campaign there unless they reduce their prices.

We are still aiming towards adding FamilyClix in our sources list.

This week's daily average was above the goal of 10.000 daily visitors!

A lot of campaigns are to expire during november so I'll do my best to figure out which sources will be worth keeping and which ones should be removed based on their price/performance ratio. I have accumulated some funds to renew the good ones so let's see how it will go. :)

Ok, we've just suffered our first database crash due to a bizarrely huge table there and that was the one logging the visitors hits..
It seems that I hadn't deleted any records since the initial launch date (2013-07-27) so after ~3.424.290 entries the table went BOOM!  :-/

So, I decided to remove old records (I was actually emotionally attached to those records so it was indeed tough..) earlier than 2014-01-01 and I'll probably create a routine that cleans that table up, at the end of each month to avoid any such crashes in the future..

Thankfully the damage caused was not too big and it sums up to some weird looking visitor statistics and the absence of hit records for about 4 hours until I realized what happened and how to fix it.. that sucks cause today we definitely crossed 10.000 visitors but only ~7000 will show in records..

Here is a screenshot of when it happened and how long it lasted :

A lesson learned the hard way..  :beatup

CashNHits, Lynkar and Bucks247 have been extended for 2 months (until the end of the year).

LegacyClix renewal has been postponed because we might use the funds on a more reliable source like adzpot.
Resbux suffers from a huge drop due to not preventing members from using adblock which causes us to lose 2/3 of the actual traffic they deliver so it is postponed until we have an update from their admin that proper measures have been taken.

Our 2 months report has been updated along with other traffic details in the ad submission page.

Just for the record we would like to share our own experience with our own banner spots on our Ads page :

MouseBux has proven to be a great source of traffic in terms of price/delivery ratio achieving to deliver 22553 within a month at the price of $9 which equals to $0,0004/hit and is a pretty fair price for such a new PTC site.

On the other hand FamilyClix was only able to deliver 7552 hits at the price of $8 which is almost equal to $0,0010/hit so we let go of advertising there for now.

Our Clixnation campaign reports that it has delivered 50636 hits at the price of $20 (6 months Grid) which would be cool if it was actually true.. In fact the past few months it has been delivering ~2000 visitors / month which means it has the ad-blocking issue of PTCEvolution scripts that wastes most of the traffic and therefore it is not a good choice for now. I'll contact the admin and let him know about it and maybe we will try it again in the future.

ResBux admin has not reported any update on the same issue so we also leave that out until further notice.

Paiverts is delivering more and more traffic over time as we are running more and more campaigns there so it's becoming a good source.
Yougetprofit and adzpot are also delivering good traffic with great prices in big amounts.

So, all in all, over time we stick to the most reliable sources and keep working more with them.
The traffic sources page has been updated.

Fresh update on the ads page traffic :

AdsClickers is gone as a site so it is removed from our list.
FamilyClix suffers from the adblock issue on their grid and a very small part of the traffic it promises so it is not a good source to keep for now.
ResBux have not replied with an update on the same issue so we'll also leave them out as well.
Clixnation is inacessible so it is also removed.
LegacyCix and GoldenClix are a bit expensive to extend right now so we'll extend them as soon as get some pending payments from some sites.

    Good news:
We have initiated a fixed ad campaign for a month on UltimateClixx.
We have extended our grid ad on ClixBox.
We now use YGP advertising even more extensively receiving more than 2000 visitors daily from them.

Either way beside the negative events our monthly traffic was still increased during November which means things are still well.

We'll now work our way to re-add GoldenClix&LegacyClix back to our active sources with the longest-possible-term campaigns.

Well, since sales are going rather well on our promo, I've added a 3 Months campaign on GoldenClix and also added a second campaign on MouseBux to boost things up a bit! :)

The traffic details have been updated.

So, it's been a while since I've posted an update due to the limited time I was online..
Still, I kept on extending campaigns normally plus adding a few new ones.

Now here's a quick update on our traffic :

MouseBux has been a good traffic provider and we'll keep running 2 grid campaigns there at the same time.

Clixten gird has been dropped down as an option due to delivering very low traffic lately but we'll soon purchase PTC advertising there as their PTC prices are great in high volume packages such as 50000 clicks @ $15.

Clixbox is also a rather cheap option and we will keep on running 2 grid campaigns there at the same time up until 28th of February!

UltimateClixx fixed ad is going great so we've extended it for another month.

Bucks247 is still one of our favorite option due to delivering great amounts of traffic at really low prices, so we are also running 2 grid campaigns at the same time on a long term basis.

CashNHits grid has been extended for another 2 months as it still has a good delivery/price ratio.

Lynkar is removed from our list as it is not delivering good amounts of traffic for its prices.

On AdzPot we still have enough credits to run a PTC ad campaign some more time but it seems that their traffic has been decreasing a lot lately.

And of course Paidverts is so great that we keep adding more and more campaigns at the same time increasing the daily traffic we receive from them over time.

The traffic stats page has been updated to list all our current campaigns.

Here is the latest two months report :

If my campaigns are anything to go by, traffic delivery on Paidverts is extremely slow. Of course, the cost is actually zero, since we get it all in daily ad issues.

Well, that's true.. I've been receiving ~50 hits daily from them running 1-2 campaigns..
Now I'll add a few more so I'll see if that makes any difference even when it comes to repeatable visitors.

[edit]Btw, I've just realised that I forgot to update the latest two months traffic report so I did so in my previous post..[/edit]

Yes, the only effective advertising you'll receive are the banners. That doesn't help SS with his need of full page ads.

And one trick (I don't know if it is a trick but it was not something I thought about) I've learned to use is that when choosing banners, you should click all the boxes up to the one you want to ad a bit of a kick to the impressions. If you want to add 1 million impressions(which is a good number in the system that will be around for a while), then click all the boxes up to 1 million and you get quite a few moire impressions that way. I would always just click the 1 million box without adding the lower ones.

It is so natural for us to only select one when we are buying things that I'm not sure you thought of it. It is amazing how psychology works

    Small traffic update :

Yesterday night, I extended ScarletClicks grid ad for another month.

Also today I added a one month grid ad campaign for the ads page on WarOfClicks to test it out.

Tomorrow during the happy hour on MouseBux I'll also extend the one of the two grid ad campaigns that has expired there.

Things offline have been really busy lately but I try to keep up. :)

Odd, it doesn't show anything different in my referral page. I wonder if Grid purchases don't count for comissions?

No, I think we've checked it out again in the past and grid doesn't count for commissions.

Today btw, I added another campaign on Clixten simply by purchasing a 100000 PTC ads pack at $25 which is really nice.
So far it delivered 1700 hits so it boosted up my traffic in a nice way and it's really affordable in large scale purchases.

I only upgraded recently on Scarlet, so I still hadn't had any chance to check.

Nah, it comes with the character, job or no job. His DNA is too dangerous in the wrong hands, so he has a shorter life span and ages quicker.
Could you see what would happen to the internet if he lived as long as normal people?

    Cough cough..

So, another update on the traffic details :

Things go rather well lately when it comes to the site's traffic!
Thanks to Clixten we've filled that gap and got much closer even over 10000 daily hits increasing every spot's effectiveness.

Here's an example of the clicking activity on the occupied ads during January :

    SpotL1 : Clicks : 253 - Unique Clicks : 170 - Occupied for : Full Month
    SpotR1 : Clicks : 99 - Unique Clicks : 93 - Occupied for : Full Month
    SpotL2 : Clicks : 136 - Unique Clicks : 125 - Occupied for : Full Month
    SpotR2 : Clicks : 57 - Unique Clicks : 57 - Occupied for : 15 Days
    SpotL4 : Clicks : 75 - Unique Clicks : 72 - Occupied for : 24 Days
    SpotR6 : Clicks : 53 - Unique Clicks : 46 - Occupied for : 14 Days
    SpotL7 : Clicks : 64 - Unique Clicks : 60 - Occupied for : 19 Days

    Regarding our running campaigns :
    1. MouseBux grid ad has been extended for another month.
    2. UltimateClixx fixed ad has been extended for another month.
    3. One of our two Bucks247 grid ad campaigns has been extended for another 45 days. (Screenshot will be updated once it gets active)
    4. WarOfClicks has been properly added to our regular traffic sources.

As for the total visitors on the site here's an overview :

I decided to add Google in the filters just to keep track of how many people find my site directly from Google's search results.

Some additional info on the benefits of the increased traffic :

AdHitz square banner received 33 clicks worthy of $1.53.
BoB and TrafficG banner exchange based free impressions pile up rather quickly so I gain additional advertising through them.

All in all, things are going great lately and my online business is economically healthier than ever! :)

Title: Re: PTCBox.Me Ads Traffic Updates

So, took me a little while to post this update but there was too much stuff to maintain and info to collect and investigate so sorry for the delay. I promise it will be a big one.. :)

Due to so many programs offering traffic but not adjusting their prices according to their delivery ratios we have started to pick our campaigns more carefully focusing on the good ones in order to push our daily traffic limits even further.

So, some programs will have to try a bit harder to get our attention again as they over-charge compared to the industry standards.

First of all, here are our latest updates on our traffic sources :

    [list bull-greenball]
  • We are now running 2 fixed ad campaigns on UltimateClixx. Their price is perfect and they have been over-delivering lately!
  • Same goes to CashNHits so we now run 2 grid ad campaigns at the same time.
  • We are also running two grid ad campaigns on Bucks247 which also delivers great amounts of traffic daily.
  • Clixten is still in the battle for our top position due to their great price-performace ratio boosting our traffic heavily.
  • Our grid campaign on Scarlet-Clicks has been extended and we're also thinking about doubling that one as well.
  • With the recent events on PaidVerts vs PayPal we are not adding new campaigns there for now but we will add a couple after the upcoming debt swap. We still have some active ones there though.
  • Advertising on MouseBux has been discontinued because the site is most likely going to disappear soon.
  • GoldenClix has been dropping their traffic delivery lately and their grid ad price is still too expensive compared to most PTC sites so we will not extend our ad there for now. Maybe if they run a special promo it would be a good idea.
  • ClixBox is also not extended anymore because their traffic delivery rates have dropped quite much lately so we put advertising there on hold as well.
  • AdzPot campaigns are paused for now for the same reason, but will probably be resumed later on.

Now regarding our last month's traffic here is the comparison with the previous month :

And since the Ad Manager makes it easy for me to track the clicks my ads have received here is an overview of my latest sponsored ads on the PTCBox.Me Ads page :

The campaigns above are solely my own that I have run in several banner ad spots and featured links of the ads page.
For discretion purposes I won't share my clients' ad details that are actually running at the top spots).
Based on averages though all 4 top spots receive 100-200 clicks monthly depending mostly on the quality of the banner-keywords combination of the ad campaign.

So, that concludes our report for March. Hopefully next one will come much closer to the start of the month!  :)

Many thanks to everyone that is supporting but also benefiting from our site!
Best of luck with your campaigns!  [smiley=12-party.gif]

And we're finally back with good news!!!

We've finally broke through our traffic goal and set a new record in our traffic stats!

It seems the latest strategic moves in sorting out our best traffic sources worked out rather well and even though we order more traffic from the same sites, the numbers show that unique daily visitors are closing to 50% which is a nice ratio to have!

It seems that things have stabilized well above 10.000 daily visitors on our Ads page as stability is rather rare in this unstable market that we work on.

So it seems that we can be optimistic about our future here and that seems like a great time for a nice advertising promo!
(Read the following post for promo details!)

Thank you all for your support!

So, it's time for another traffic update on the ads page! :)
We've just got through another successful month achieving our 300.000+ visitors goal!

Here are some changes in our traffic sources :

We have added a BuxVertise grid ad campaign for 2 months and will add it to our list if the traffic it delivers meets our requirements.
We have given FamilyClix a second chance due to the latest increase in their presence with a one month grid ad campaign.
We have extended Bucks247 grid ad campaigns one for 2 months and one for a full year!
We have switched our fixed ads to PTC ads in UltimateClixx and we are now running 2 PTC ad campaigns. (We may add more if they don't deliver enough traffic for our needs.
We have extended our CashNHits grid ads for two months each normally.
We have extended our Scarlet-Clicks grid ad campaign for another month and we are now considering of adding a second one there.
We keep on adding more and more campaigns on Paidverts which now seems to be getting quicker in terms of delivery lately which is a good thing.
We have decided to let go of WarOfClicks for now since its price does not justify its traffic delivery.
And we are looking for more traffic sources to widen up our audience in the future.

Here is our last two months traffic comparison table.

As you can see we achieved almost the same number of visitors with last month only April's results were achieved in one day less which means the actual average daily traffic was still increased. :)

The past few days were under the daily average due to our decision making taking a bit longer but we have just initiated a bunch of new campaigns and will counter-balance the monthly traffic in the following ones.

So, time for a quick traffic report, I made it early this month. :)

Well, we've faced a small drop in our traffic this month mainly because I delayed the second campaign on CashNHits and because of the absence of WarOfClicks, but we're still hitting our 300.000 monthly visitors goal.

Also, I have some good news, I've contacted CashNHits support and asked for longer duration grid ad packs (since they are awesome there) and though it took them almost two weeks to reply, they finally told me this :

    Quote:
Hi sure, thank you and appreciate the suggestion.. :)

I sure will do that, hopefully should be implemented within 2-3 weeks. I have already added it in our to-do list.

So I guess it will be soon available. CashNHits has a great price/performance ratio compared to most PTC sites right now so I would love to be able to purchase longer packs.

Buxvertise proves to be good at delivering visitors though it's 3 months price ($13/month) is somewhat high, but we'll keep that going for a while longer to see if it's steady.
GPTPlanet seems to be somewhat slow on delivery but its grid is still new and its price is ok.
Bucks247 is still one getting better over time and it's great since I've purchased a full year of grid advertising there.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
I also noticed that 2 fixed ads perform better than 3 PTC ads on UltimateClixx so maybe I'll switch back to them in the future.

I think I might introduce a small increase maybe after July in the pricing of the top spots in order to to be able to push the monthly traffic even further and make them even more appealing.

Other than that here is our last-2-months report:

    Stay tuned for more! :)

    June's Traffic Details
Last week we extended our domain for another 2 years which means that we're set to be online until August 2017.

We're running the following campaigns :

    [list bull-blueball]
  • 2 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on CashNHits.
  • 2 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Scarlet-Clicks.
  • 1 grid ad campaign on GPTPlanet.
  • 3 simultaneous PTC ad campaigns on UltimateClix.
  • 1 PTC ad campaign on Clixten
  • Multiple PTC ad campaigns on PaidVerts
  • 1 grid ad campaign on Twickerz
  • 1 grid ad campaign on GrandMonopoly
  • 1 grid ad campaign on GrandClick

As a result our traffic is stable mostly above our 10.000 visitors goal.

We have updated our screenshots in the order submission form page.
So, to sum up, here are our last two months detailed statistics :

And last but not least in 20 days we're closing 2 years of successful online presence of our Ads page! :)

PS. I am looking forward to upgrade the whole site with a cool Content Management System but that depends on my free time so we'll see.. ;)

    So, hello again everyone! :)
After some time off, I am back online and did some "traffic"oriented maintenance.

Sorry for the small drops in daily traffic, we'll be back on track starting tonight.
I have extended all of the expired campaigns and added a few more in the most stable sites so the traffic will stabilize again around our 10.000 goal.

Because of the latest events in Greece I'm now taking my advertising decisions more seriously in order to optimize quality/quantity/price ratios and keep PTCBox.Me Ads going in an economically healthy way. So I'm focusing more on the best performers which happen to be the most old stable sites such as Scarlet-Clicks, CashNHits, Bucks247, Twickerz etc.

For example on Bucks247 we are now running 3 simultaneous campaigns out of which two are of a full year duration and the third one of 7 months so we'll break free from having to extend them every few months. We'll try to achieve the same on other good PTCs as well as we go.

Here are the current advertising campaigns we are running right now:
    [list bull-greenball]
  • 1 grid ad campaign on Twickerz
  • 3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Scarlet-Clicks.
  • 2 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on CashNHits.
  • 1 grid ad campaign on UltimateClixx
  • 3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Bucks247
  • 1 grid ad campaign on Buxvertise
  • 1 grid ad campaign on GPTPlanet
  • 1 PTC ad campaign on Clixten
  • Multiple PTC ad campaigns on PaidVerts
  • 1 grid ad campaign on GrandMonopoly
  • 1 grid ad campaign on GrandClick

We faced an issue with our database during July so ~12000 hits have not been recorded thus you'll notice a small drop in the monthly traffic. We've automated some maintenance routines to prevent such issues from happening in the future. We may tune them to be even more strict and often if they ever happen again.

So here is our last two months traffic report :

As for the upcoming upgrade, I've been researching for weeks now on it and I've contacted my host to help with some incompatibilities before implementing it so it will take some more time until it's complete. But I have more free time this time of the year so I hope we'll have them ready soon! ;)

So, better late than never, here is our monthly traffic report.

Due to capital controls in Greece, we were unable to top up our PayPal accounts up until now.
However we are finally able to do so again, and so today we extended all our campaigns that were on hold.

More specifically we have purchased the following campaigns :

    1. Two simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Scarlet-Clicks for one month,
    2. One grid ad campaign on Cash-N-Hits for two months,
    3. One grid ad campaign on Buxvertise for two months,
    4. One grid ad campaign GrandClick for one year,
    5. and another 100.000 PTC ad campaign on Clixten.

Therefore we expect a nice boost on our daily traffic in order to cross our 10.000 goal again as soon as possible.
We may go beyond that as well to cover up the decreased traffic during these past few weeks but we are focusing on bring our new layout of the site online.

As for the last two months report here it is :

We are planning to increase the quality of our advertising services by increasing the exposure of all ads purchased on the ads page.
More to come soon so stay tuned! :)

Have you thought of trying Silverclix' grid? It's cheaper than Goldenclix, but I have no idea how much traffic it will bring.

Yes, I've tried it a bunch of times in the past and its traffic is way too low for its cost..
Plus that they keep on suspending my account every month so I kind of gave up on them..
Same goes for GoldenClix.. Both sites are overpriced compared to the ones I use.
It's even more worthy to use simple PTC ads in other sites than grid ads on these two.  :dontknow

It's been a while since I've posted a traffic update so let's wrap it all up now.

Due to the awkward situation in Greece with the capital controls being a pain in the back, we've faced a few struggles the past two months, since up until recently we were unable to fund our PayPal account and pay our traffic sources. But we're somewhat over those issues now as at least international digital purchases are now allowed by the Greek banks.

So, here is our last two months table and we'll then get in details about where we are with our daily traffic :

And here is the last one that includes August and September :

As you can see in the tables above we've suffered a 7% drop in our traffic after august that we are trying to rebuild now.

However there are some sites that have dramatically decreased their traffic to our link such as Twickerz (graph) and Clixten (graph).

At least some have proved their ground over time like Bucks247 (graph), Scarlet-Clicks (graph) and CashNHits (graph).

Also practically new for me but Buxvertise (graph) is also gaining ground among others.

UltimateClixx have decided to raise their prices to a point that its delivery ratio doesn't follow up.

So, here are the current campaigns we are running for our ads page :
    [list bull-blueball]
  • 3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Bucks247
  • 3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Scarlet-Clicks.
  • 3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on CashNHits.
  • 1 grid ad campaign on Buxvertise
  • 1 PTC ad campaign on Clixten
  • Multiple PTC ad campaigns and one Fixed Ad on PaidVerts
  • 1 grid ad campaign on GrandClick
  • 1 PTC Ad Campaign on YouGetProfit (Temporary Traffic Boost)

Something nice is that Google has started to list us high again delivering a few well targeted hits every now and then.
So, thanks everyone for your support until the next report!

Btw, to increase the forum's popularity I decided to purchase a full year grid ad campaign on Bucks247 to start having some more regular visitors around here.

Off-Topic replies have been moved to this Topic.

I've moved the discussion on promoting the forum to a separate thread (above) so that we can freely continue the discussion there and keep this thread related to the traffic updates.

Have you verified the traffic at clixten? I just tested a fixed ad for CS there and the clixten stats were showing 10K while the CS stats showed about 5k. That is a huge discrepancy. Now the ads were 5 second ads so it could be due to page loading but that still seems like a large gap

Edit: Dan just let me know he got 798 clicks out of 1000 to his DM page so it must be due to slow page loads. OK false alarm folks  :beatup  :)

The hits in the graphs are purely monitor from my site's side..
Based on my experience the big differences in traffic stats are usually due to PTC sites allowing the use of adblockers..
At those cases, we get less actual visitors due to adblockers preventing our pages being shown within their frames under the counter bar.
However, most PTCs have now prevented that from happening by not allowing the ads to show up in case the user has an adblocker enabled.

I also have a popup message on my site showing up notifying that they should disable the adblocker (only when they do so) in order to view the content of my ads page.

However, loading time may also be an issue so you could be right in your case as well..

So, after some time off, I finally found the time to write another traffic report. :)

We have suffered a small loss due to WarOfClicks going offline because of which we have now opened a PayPal dispute to get back our funds.
Just 15 days after purchasing a 6 months campaign that cost us $75, the site was turned off ending its traffic delivery to us..

To counter-balance the drop we have added a fresh campaign of 200.000 ptc ads on AdzPot @ $60 ($0.0003 per visitor).
Scarlet-Clicks and CashNHits campaigns have been extended normally.

The currently active campaigns we are now running on the Ads Page are the following :
    [list bull-greenball]
  • 3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Bucks247
  • 3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Scarlet-Clicks.
  • 3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on CashNHits.
  • 1 grid ad campaign on Buxvertise
  • 1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on Clixten
  • 1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on AdzPot
  • Multiple PTC ad campaigns on PaidVerts
  • 1 grid ad campaign on GrandClick

Here is our full last two months traffic report :

We are working on ways to improve the overall quality of our products as we go, as well as adding even better offers such as direct PTC advertisements using our advantage in achieving better prices than what PTC members get in small ad packs.

    More to come soon!  ;)

It's been a while since I've posted a traffic update.. this is due to travelling and not having the time to do so.
However even though it's always been a bumpy ride in the PTC world our traffic is going great lately! :)

CashNHits has yet to stabilize so it has stopped delivering traffic to us though we had closed the disputes against them when they got back the first time. We have paused our Buxvertise campaign because their traffic was a bit lower than normal making it a bit expensive but will give it another try soon.

So, this is our latest traffic report for January 2016 (including December 2015).

Here are all our current traffic sources :
    [list bull-blueball]
  • 3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Bucks247
  • 2 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Scarlet-Clicks
  • 1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on Clixten
  • 1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on AdzPot
  • 1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on MyFreeShares
  • 1 fixed ad for a full year on PaidVerts
  • 1 grid ad campaign on GrandClick

There seems to be an increase in the activity of the above sources as even though we use less campaigns our traffic has been increased:

    http://i.imgur.com/9kTdIOX.png

And here are the past two months report :

    http://www.ptcbox.me/images/adf/dtr-2016-02.png

That's all for now, I have been working on improving the ads page layout lately, a task that has proven to be much harder than I expected. The ad spots will be reduced to only 8 thus improving their quality and the whole page will be restructured to better show the most important advertising areas instead of the rest (announcements etc.).

It's not ready yet, and it takes a lot of time to rebuild it on a more responsive design form, with quicker loading times, but I really feel the result will be well worth it! :)

    Two questions:

How are you liking the traffic from paidverts? Is it meeting your expectations?

Also, I notice you haven't bought any traffic from donkey mails yet. They have quite a bit to offer

Well, I wouldn't say it's great but it's not bad either.. Delivering ~14000 visitors per month isn't amazing but due to the growth of the site and upcoming promos there is always the probability of it climbing higher over time. It's still too early to judge.

In addition the price isn't that amazing but the extended exposure benefits my site through other means such as increasing my rankings in search engines and bringing some well targeted traffic that way. Also the Paidverts audience is of good quality in my opinion.. there are a lot there of experienced advertisers there and potential clients for my own site and my customers' sites as well.

As for donkeymails  there is this offer from them that caught my attention but I'm not in urgent need right now for extra traffic (it's already going well above 10000 visitors/day) and YGP got me a bit shorter on funds than planned and capital controls keep on making my life harder.. Not to add that I'm off my offline job since December because I was on a project based contract and we have successfully completed all projects. :)

But we'll get there.. I now have some time to study on some new technologies that could help me on my next job and my online career too. :)

Or he could join EM-Traffic under you and purchase the super gold upgrade for $14.90.

For instance, I purchased the super gold upgrade last year. And in just a little more than 7 months, it has gotten me more than 83,800 hits to my sites thus far.

I also purchased the 12 months personal page for $11.90 and it has also gotten me an additional 27,000 hits to my sites.

And he could then either promote his Ad page in it or even DonkeyMails' PTP to get some money back or both.

So you don't have the clixten clixgrid? $60 for 365 days is a pretty good deal depending on the traffic levels

Clixten grid isn't providing decent traffic to justify its price.. I used to get it back when it was $40 for a full year and it still was a bit too low on delivery.. However, I'm always running a PTC ad on Clixten.. it does deliver ~2500 daily visitors and its price is ok, with the 1mil pack being the ultimate deal.

So I pick that over the grid.. :)

I'm getting between 500 to 600 clicks a day in clixgrid. Not too shabby at that cost.

Although I still think that the 1 million PTC for $100 purchased last Nov on a sale was a very good buy. Especially that you're able to promote DM PTP, DM PTP Points and Em-Traffic in there. And you could also set the daily maximum as to not to dilute the hits. And I still have credits left over from that purchase.

And I'm on the lookout for another sale, hopefully around their anniversary time this upcoming Nov.

Well, even if they do deliver 600 per day for 365 days which would equal to 219000 visitors in total.. so with a price of $60 it would equal to a cost of $0.00027 per visitor.. so even their current non-promo price of $25 for 100000 visitors is still better ($0.00025) and can deliver 2500+ visitors daily and offer the benefits of limiting the exposure, adding extra free exposure from non members and better control like pausing/resuming/extending/dividing to multiple campaigns etc...
The 1mil visitors on the other hand was the ultimate deal, and the best I've ever seen with a price of $0.0001 per visitor.. and I now feel kinda stupid I only purchased 1 pack back then.. it was a steal deal.. :(

Tomorrow (1st of July), I'll post June's report which I'm also interested to see myself, as it will include all my campaigns on the MultiMoneyGroup sites, so we'll get an overview of how much they deliver as well. :)

    How are we going?

It's been a while since I updated this thread with a traffic report so, let's get down to it.
There have been ups and downs due to the people changing their clicking habits but we're still here and doing well as you'll see.

Though, I haven't posted the typical traffic report monthly it still has been updated in the Ad Submission Page so a simple click on the "Traffic Stats" link on the ads page would point out all the current campaigns running.

The campaigns we are currently running are the following:

3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on GPTPlanet
2 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Scarlet-Clicks
2 unlimited PTC ad campaigns on MyFreeShares
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on Clixten
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on AdzPot
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on JillsClicksCorner
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on DonkeyMails
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on Planet-Traffic
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on No-Minimum
1 unlimited PTR ad campaign on YouRoMail
1 unlimited PTR ad campaign on GetPaidMail
1 fixed ad for a full year on PaidVerts
1 grid ad campaign on GrandClick

The links to each pair of the past months (2016) are here just for the record:
    December 2015 - January 2016
    February-March 2016
    May-April2016
    June-July 2016

And here is our latest 2 months report:

And in terms of results I could post my own testimonial for my current FamilyClix campaign on SpotR1 expiring in a few days.
My campaign's details are the following:

And here is my direct referrals list in FamilyClix:

With a click through ratio of just 5% I have received 10 direct referrals for FamilyClix within 21 days! :)

I'm now thinking of trying Clixsense and FamilyClix Grid once again just to check if there's any improvement till the last time I used them.

As an extra bonus for my clients I've been offering bonus banner impressions through BoB and TrafficG (since I have 580.000 and 480.000 impressions accumulated there) and I'll keep on offering that as an under-promising -> over-delivering method.  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Now with the capital controls in my country lifted I'll most likely be able to have funds available at all times, unlike the past few months that I had to wait for sales and PTC payments to cover my expenses (and they did but it's been a bit rough extending the campaigns). And I've been coding for a bunch of upgrades for my system in order to improve the quality of the whole site as well.

It was about time for a traffic report, wasn't it?

Things seem to be going well, month after month we're getting more traffic so there is still progress made there.
We have recently added LexiAdz to our sources list and we're planning to add a few more programs that we are currently testing.

So, right now we are running the following campaigns for our PTCBox.Me Ads page that we so love:

3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on GPTPlanet
3 simultaneous grid ad campaigns on Scarlet-Clicks
2 unlimited PTC ad campaigns on MyFreeShares
2 unlimited PTP ad campaign on DonkeyMails
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on Clixten
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on AdzPot
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on JillsClicksCorner
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on Planet-Traffic
1 unlimited PTC ad campaign on No-Minimum
1 unlimited PTR ad campaign on YouRoMail
1 unlimited PTR ad campaign on GetPaidMail
1 fixed ad for a full year on PaidVerts
1 grid ad campaign on GrandClick
1 grid ad campaign on LexiAdz

The past two months traffic is displayed in the following table:

You can always view our automated last 7 days' traffic report in the traffic-stats section before ordering.

    Thanks everyone for your support!
    Stay tuned for more!  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]
