Changes to Signup Commissions
30 Sep 2013 05:45 pm
Members, in an effort to provide you with an opportunity to earn more commissions with ClixSense, we are enhancing our affiliate signup commissions for all members. With our old commission structure only premium members earned a $0.50 signup commission once their affiliate has earned $1.00 in PTC ad clicks.

With the new commission structure all members can now earn from their affiliate signups as follows:

Standard members will now earn $0.50 for each affiliate that has earned a total* of at least $10.00 from his own activity.

Premium members will now earn $1.00 for each affiliate that has earned a total* of at least $5.00 from his own activity.

* This includes earnings from approved Offers, Tasks and PTC Clicks only. This does not include commissions, bonuses and prizes such as ClixGrid and the Daily Checklist Bonus.

We are also making this retroactive for all active members, meaning we will be crediting you with signup commissions for all of your active referrals who have met the above criteria.

Another change we have made is there is no longer the $100 limit on sales commissions per referral on premium accounts, and the standard accounts commission limit is upped from $50.00 to $100.00.

Along with this we will be also removing the 1000 free ad credits given when you upgrade your account to premium.

We feel now is the best time to promote and get new referrals. We've made it easier for you to earn more money and we have more exciting changes coming your way very soon.

Thank you
The ClixSense Team

Hmmmm,

Some give, some take. I'm sure Dan will like this since I'm such an active advertiser  :money

Hmm, retroactive... nice. No wonder my balance increased a bit more than I expected today. Unfortunately, it still wasn't very significative. I guess some referrals who might have fulfilled that had already become inactive for a while now.

Weird thing.. server is not responding.

Btw, Nerdbux was down due to DDoS attacks, according to what admin said.

Hey Guys

Please be patient while we get things running again. Unfortunately because of the DDOS things like cron jobs did not run. Daily statistics may be incorrect, the referral contest winners may not be up for a bit, etc.

Don't fear, we will get everything back to full speed shortly. Just please be patient while we do!

It is probably DDoS for CS too. I doubt they were upgrading servers. That is something they would have notified us about I'm sure

A few days ago, as I was checking my ClixSense account I noticed there was an offer available for me regarding Kinder Bueno (of which I'm a huge fan  :D )..

I completed it and that got me $1.33 immediately afterwards!  :cool1
It would be even cooler if those offers came up more often though..  :-/

It happens to me too, but this one was different..
When browsing to the surveys page despite the two boxes below that read "Your surveys" and "Opinion Surveys" there was another indication at the top of the page that a new survey is available for me. So I clicked that and the survey started..

Yes, I get those kinds of indications about a survey for me. The problem is it never ends up being for me.
Makes me wonder what kind of criteria do they use for those survey suggestions.

YES! I finally have referrals on my level 8!  [smiley=12-party.gif]

CS is great, once you build that perpetual motion machine it just keeps on going. I have no doubt this 10 cent bounty they are paying for referrals has helped to spark new life into my downline. My level 4 has taken off and is now almost twice the size of level three. So it seems I have a new 'star' formation on level 3.

I'll bet you thought new stars only formed in the universe? No, downlines produce them too!   ;D

December Affiliate Promotion - Merry Christmas
8 Dec 2014 09:35 pm
Members, after another successful month of our $0.10 and $0.05 cent affiliate promotion we are again extending our promotion until January 9th 2015. But, because it is the season of giving we are upping the commissions and will now pay our premium members $0.15 for every new active referral and our free members will earn $0.07 for each referral who activates their account. The new promotion commissions do not start until Tuesday December 9th.

We want to thank all of our members who actively promote ClixSense and if this trend continues so will the affiliate promotion.

As a reminder we do not allow you to use PTSU (paid to signup) or any service that is similar. If you are paying someone to signup under you then this violates our terms of the promotion and you can end up losing your ability to participate in our affiliate program or even your account. So please do not cheat because when you do you ruin it for everyone.

April Affiliate Promotion - Higher signup commissions
9 Apr 2015 11:38 am
Members, March was another very successful month with our affiliate promotion. Because of this continued success we are again extending our promotion until May 9th. The current promotion pays free members $0.05 for each active referrals and $0.10 to premium members. Please remember to follow our policies and do not attempt to create bogus accounts and NO PTSU (Paid to signup programs). We have been very strict with this policy and those members we have removed are not getting their accounts back for cheating, so please be sure to think before you act.

Another change for this month is we have doubled our commission structure on our original signup bonuses.

With the current commission structure all members earn from their affiliate signups as follows:

Standard members earn $0.50 for each affiliate that has earned a total* of at least $10.00 from his own activity. This has been doubled to $1.00.

Premium members earn $1.00 for each affiliate that has earned a total* of at least $5.00 from his own activity. This has been doubled to $2.00.

* This includes earnings from approved Offers, Tasks and PTC Clicks only. This does not include commissions, bonuses and prizes such as ClixGrid and the Daily Checklist Bonus.

These new higher commissions started today, Thursday April 9th. So even if you have a referral who signed up under you a month ago but hasn't reached the $5.00 or $10.00 in earnings but does so this month you will earn the higher bonus commission.

This promotion will run from April 9th to May 9th. ClixSense can at it's own discretion stop or change this promotion at any time without warning.

Please continue to do your part and promote your affiliate URL.

Thank you and best of luck.

The ClixSense Staff

I get $1.33 for each one so even if I don't receive many it's still a nice addition to my balance there, as I'm not much into daily clicking there due to not having active referrals anymore..

However I'm now above $6 so at this rate I'll even reach the payout soon which is nice for the little amount of work there through surveys.. :)

***IMPORTANT*** New Cashout Policy
29 Jul 2015 05:33 pm
Members please read this as it is very important.

Currently we process electronic cashouts two times a week. Monday and Friday afternoon and the cashouts are completed before 5PM EST. In an effort to try and streamline this process we are now changing this to one time a week on Wednesday afternoon before 5PM EST. This change is going into effect immediately and we will not process cashouts again until Wednesday August 5th. This means cashouts will NOT be processed this Friday July 31st or Monday August 3rd.

We realize this may be an inconvenience to those members who do cashout 2 times a week but we feel this change makes good sense. As our business model continues to change from a PTC to a rewards network the work behind the scenes that we do is also increasing. We feel we can be more productive by processing cashouts just one time a week instead of two.

This change does not effect those members who elect to receive their cashouts by check. This will remain one time a month and processed on or before the 10th.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you but please understand this is a change we must make.

Thank you
Jim Grago

That works for me. I only get paid once every two weeks at work

Yes, I don't think they would have done it if it didn't gain them a significant benefit. I often did wonder why they paid twice weekly when they didn't really need to and many companies pay net 30

New Affiliate Commissions Coming Soon and New Cashout Procedures
24 Nov 2015 05:19 pm
Members, we are making some big changes to our cashout procedures. Many months ago when we changed the cashouts to once a week it seemed like a great idea at the time. But as ClixSense continues to grow so does the amount of cashouts we send. So, effective immediately we will begin processing cashouts every business day. This means we will process cashouts Monday thru Friday unless there is a US holiday during the week as cashouts will not be processed on recognized US holidays and we WILL NOT process cashouts on the weekends. For example this Thursday November 26th is Thanksgiving and no cashouts will be done.

The cashout procedure will work as follows:

Each morning we will review cashouts and at that time approximately 30% of all cashouts will be processed on that day. There will be times when we will process all cashouts in one day but that depends on how many are pending. There is no cutoff time and we are not setting a time when they will be done, but they will be processed each morning.

**Please note** - You will not be permitted to cashout more than 1 time a week. You can however still add funds to your cashout while it's still pending.

This does not mean if you cashout on Monday morning that you will receive your cashout on Monday morning. Your cashout will be entered in the pending queue to be processed and will be done in the order it's received.

Also, this process does not affect those users who elect to receive a check or for those members from USA or Canada who must first go through our address verification process and receive their first cashout by check. Checks are still sent one time a month and will be processed on or before the 10th of each month.

We have already approved and sent several thousand pending cashouts today.

New affiliate signup commissions
Starting on November 30th we are increasing our affiliate signup commissions up to 300%. Yep you heard me right, a huge increase in our affiliate signup commission structure. We will make another announcement later this week on this massive increase with complete details so please watch for another announcement.

Stay tuned for even more "Holiday Promotions" we have planned for the month of December.

We truly appreciate your support and wish you continued success here at ClixSense.

This isn't quite as good as they implied from their original email and there does seem to be more difficulty with compliance but it was better than it was.

The difference means this to me: I was going to run out and blast a campaign at them the minute this was released but now I don't feel the need to rush. I'll stick with my usual plan and test this in my regular order of things. If it pays off then fine, I'll work up from there

*Due to some members who try to abuse our system and create multiple fake accounts or use PTSU we are no longer going to pay affiliate signup commissions instantly. Instead these commissions will be paid whenever certain conditions have been met but not earlier than 10 days after the signup date.

These conditions include, but are not limited to, performing at least 3 actions on 3 distinct (different) days. We cannot reveal more than this to avoid abuse. Simply put, if your referrals are active you will get the signup commission accordingly.

We appreciate your support of ClixSense. Please keep an eye out for special holiday promotions coming soon.

Sticky ad price changes
28 May 2016 10:58 am
Members, when we first introduced our sticky ads in 2014 we based the price off what we thought the total amount of views per day would be. At that time we averaged roughly 50,000 views per day. Now, with ClixSense continuing to grow and more members online, our average views have increased by more than 50% to over 85,000 views per day. With this large increase it costs us more money per ad. We do not like to raise prices but in order to minimize loses we have to raise the price of our sticky ads 15%.

Effective June 10th the new sticky ad pricing will take effect.

New pricing will be as follows, old price > new price:

1 - $67.00 > $77.00
3 - $196.00 > $227.00
5 - $320.00 > $369.00
7 - $439.00 > $509.00
10 - $614.00 > $709.00
15 - $899.00 > $1039.00
30 - $1699.00 > $1969.00
60 - $3199.00 > $3699.00
90 - $4499.00 > $5199.00
120 - $5599.00 > $6499.00
250 - $10830.00 > $12490.00

I don't like fixed ads except as a customer. It is good that views are going up so I guess the price is justified. This may also move more people to standard ads which is a fixed cost for them

We will be adding new servers to help with our growth and at the same time migrating data to these new servers. We estimate that we can bring the site back online by 7pm EST on Saturday August 13th.

We apologize for the length of time we will be offline but this upgrade is necessary and will help ensure that as we continue to grow you do not experience a slowdown in our website performance.

Thank you

I surely hope it has been hacked and just not poofed in the middle of the night. Would hate to miss that one.

Well, thankfully I didn't go there, only read about the update.. so based on what the admin says the database was not touched so no much of a big deal, except a few thousands fixed ads views that were missed for the advertisers.

On the other hand, yesterday night my house was broken into and they got my laptop, tablet and a few other small valued things..

So they didn't hack clixsense but they DID hack my house.. last night was kind of rough as I had to deal with the police research that will probably lead nowhere and I had to change all my passwords on every important site I work on.. and there was sensitive data on it, but fortunately everything was backed up.

So, today wasn't my best of days either..  [smiley=sad.gif]
At least they didn't touch my main computer nor my guitars.. so that's something positive.

You can get back into the site now.

go here

https://www.google.ca/search?q=ClixSense&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=XaLMV7XhBs2OjwOR4rLYCA

or do a google search and click on the cached version. Then you can navigate the site from those old links

SS,

Do you have any trackers on your computer that will notify you if it goes online. There was one called lojack (I think that was the name) a long time ago but since you use yours for biz you might want a tracker of some sort. It is probably tax deductable

Typically cached versions are not live, just saved previous non-functional states of the site..

So there shouldn't be a way to click ads and get paid before it's back online.

I messed around a bit and found that http://www.clixsense.com/en works fine.

But if you dont use the /en you still see alot of naked men lol.

And that sucks solid. Hope it all works out eventually.

Edit:

Clicking CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and then deleting all your history solves the problem.

I was able to complete a survey today for $1.20.. and there was a second one available that as usual I didn't qualify for..  ;D

But never mind.. one is still a nice boost.

I was wondering, do they offer referral commissions for survey earnings?
If yes MM is there a way to check if you got it?

Yes they do and yes you can. I can look up your username but don't worry about it. I made $1.41 in referral offer commissions today so it should be in there

My pleasure.. :P

It's practically the only way I'm earning there and also getting you commissions since I only have one $0.01 ad to click and I'm not to keen on doing so daily..

Plus my refs are dead, so these surveys work better than clicks even if they happen once in a while.

Update on payments
7 Nov 2016 10:59 am
Members, as many of you are aware there have been issues that are out of our control with some of the payment processors we're using for cashouts.
Neteller has stopped accepting any deposits from USA customers and Payza is again having issues with accepting USA deposits as well. We've also been told that Payza is unable to process any ACH (bank withdrawal) or send checks to USA customers. This makes it nearly impossible for us to pay via these methods when we cannot deposit money to them.

For those of you who use Tango Card there have been intermittent issues with the bitcoin processor they use (Snapcard) and frequently they run out of bitcoin. Hopefully this situation will get better with time.

Paypal seems to be the most solid option right now so we're requesting if any of you have a Paypal account and are able to use it to please do so. We want to make sure you're paid. In the meantime we've been searching for replacements for Neteller and Payza and have contacted Skrill and Payoneer. We're also considering adding a bitcoin processor so you can cashout directly to bitcoin.

We will keep you updated on this as we move forward.

Thank you

If they bring in bitcoin then I think I'm SET FOR LIFE!!  [smiley=12-party.gif]

I'm not much of a clicker there since there's only 1 x $0.01 ad and the rest are even lower so that's not attractive for me.

However I do surveys when they pop up every now and then and they usually pay $1.20 each which is cool considering that they usually take around ~10 minutes to complete..

And the good thing about them is that whenever a compatible one is available I get notified by email so I'm able to quickly login and check it out.

I don't always qualify to the end of the survey but when I do it's usually paying $1.20. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

Members, we are pleased to announce the addition of Payoneer for cashouts. Payoneer allows you to send your ClixSense cashout directly to your bank account or to a Payoneer Card (The Payoneer card is not available to all countries).

Please note the minimum cashout through Payoneer is $20.00, however the minimum you can send from your Payoneer account to your bank account varies by country starting at $25.00. Be sure to check the fee schedule before requesting your bank transfer.

For those of you who already have a Payoneer account you can now "link" your Payoneer account with your ClixSense account. To do this, please go to the Profile and Settings link on your account. Then on the right under Payment Details select Payoneer from the dropdown menu. Then click "Connect your Payoneer account now!" This will take you to the Payoneer login page where you will be asked to login to your Payoneer account. Once you are logged in, it will link your Payoneer account to your ClixSense account. At this point you can request a cashout through Payoneer.

If you do not have a Payoneer account and wish to register. Please go to the Profile and Settings link on your account, select Payoneer from the dropdown menu on the Payment details section and click the Create one link. Payoneer will verify your account details before your account is active. This may take 24 hours or longer.

If you do not have a bank account in your name, then you can still use Payoneer but you must elect to use their Prepaid MasterCard® Card. The card is free to order but there are activation and other fees involved. Please read through this entire page for a list of Payoneer fees:

https://www.payoneer.com/fees/

Payza and Neteller will be removed as a cashout option but if their banking situation changes we will bring them back. We're also still looking into Bitcoin processors so please stay tuned.

Thank you

Paypal
8 Feb 2017 11:15 am
Members, this announcement comes with a very heavy heart. On Monday February 6th Paypal placed a hold on our account. They advised me that due to new policy changes the ClixSense business model was now in violation of their user agreement and we would have to stop processing all payments (in and payments out).
We attribute this change to the large amount of fly by night PTC, HYIPs, traffic exchanges etc that have made this industry look bad for those that actually run a legitimate business.

I have had several conference calls with Paypal over the last few days trying to convince them that we've posed no risk for the last 7 years since we've introduced them, and even our account rep agrees, but in their eyes it did not matter. On Tuesday afternoon I was told I would get a definitive answer either last night or this morning if we would be able to continue with them for at least mass pay cashouts. I received the call this morning that they are not allowing us to process with them any more. If you haven't noticed, the option to pay by Paypal has been removed from the site.

While this is definitely a set back, it certainly does not mean you will not get paid. I highly suggest that if you are currently using Paypal to switch to Payoneer. They can send your funds directly to your bank account or to their debit card. We also suggest you try Tango Card or Paytoo as they have many different options for you too.

I have a call later today with Skrill to try and get this account setup ASAP and I am doing everything I can to bring Payza back as well.

We know this is a major inconvenience but as the old saying goes, what doesn't kill you will only make you stronger. ClixSense will continue to move forward and we will do our best to provide you with the great service that you've come to know.

Thank you
Jim Grago

Well.. people have already started switching to alternatives some time ago, haven't they?

I personally believe that Clixsense will survive this just like Zigma, PV and FC..

PayPal has already lost its ground in the PTC industry.. BitCoin and alternative payment processors are gaining more every day..

Title: Re: ClixSense News
Post by ruicarlov on 9th Feb, 2017 at 6:08pm
Yes, fortunately Paypal limitation is no longer the doomsday scenario it was back when we all met.
But I bet it's still a major pain in the a**. For better or worse, a lot of people still use it and have limited acess to other processors.

Title: Re: ClixSense News
Post by moneymarketing on 9th Feb, 2017 at 6:38pm
I still say this will be a good thing if CS decides to open BTC on the site. You can get paid that way through tango but they need to pay out BTC directly. If they do that they will reconnect with the industry and their customers will no longer need to jump through hoops to use the BTC they earn on other PTCs and turn them into advertising on CS

They were basically choking off almost all  PTC revenue because most people were not getting paid in paypal and they were no ways to easily convert.

It doesn't matter how good your advertising is, making it difficult for people to spend money on your site always cuts into revenue. Basically, CS became a small circle with neobux for advertising and cashing out. it just was not good to have the biggest fish swimming in small circles

I feel ya. Nowadays I only cashout with Payza at Twickerz, since I still haven't deposited enough by bitcoin. For a 50$ cashout, I get 5% in Twickerz fees ($2.5), and Payza charges me an extra $1.67 (3%).

Seriously, the less Payza the better.

This means that next time I make a CS cashout I'll try that Tango card thing. If direct bitcoin isn't up until then

Looking at their fees, it seems it's free to receive from another Payoneer user.
Actually, I'm kinda surpised with their fees. They seem pretty acceptable, both for withdrawing and for currency conversion.

In my mind they weren't all that interesting, but I guess I was confusing them with Payeer.

Payza Cashouts & more
18 Apr 2017 11:27 am
4/18/2017 - I wanted to clear up some confusion about this issue. This problem only effects Western Union and not other banks that Payza works with. We could use a diffferent bank to fund our Payza account, but wanted to see if we can clear up this issue before we go through that process.

Members, I would like to apologize for the delay with Pay a cashouts. Recently, we were informed by our bank that Western Union (which processes most wire transfers for banks) has blacklisted Payza due to an apparent investigation with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. This blacklisting of Payza by Western Union has limited our ability to send funds from our bank account to our Payza account. We have been in touch with Western Union and our bank to see if we can come up with a work around for this issue.

We will keep you updated on our progress and hope for a positive result. In the meantime if you'd like to cancel your pending Payza cashouts so you can use an alternate method, just go back to the My Account page and click Cancel next to your pending cashout or submit a ticket to us and we'll be glad to assist.

Also, we have been working on adding new ways for you to make payments to us and we've been in contact with many companies to try and find the a much easier way for you to get your money. We should have an update on this very soon.

I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding.

Update on Payza cashouts
24 Apr 2017 02:16 pm
Members, I wanted to give you an update on the Payza funding situation. We opened a new bank account and completed all the paperwork today. It will take a couple days for them to get the ACH and Wire capability setup for us but we expect this to be fully functional by the end of the week at which time we can initiate a wire to Payza so we can complete your pending cashotus. We're hopeful we can start sending the cashouts by the end of the week.

I want to again apologize for the delay and we will do our best to make sure all Payza cashouts are caught up as soon as possible. There are no delays with other cashouts and they will continue as normal.

Thank you for your understanding.

The ClixSense Team

This is cool. I'll just add to my cashout total until they are ready

MM + SS,

If you ever have thoughts of opening up a Payoneer account, the next person can join through Rui.

And then whoever is the 4th person can join through the 3rd person.

Doesn't that request a lot of information in order to join. I think that is what kept me from joining. I'm starting to get wary of giving out a ton of information to these payment processors only to see them disappear in a few years. It's not that I think that will happen to payoneer but I just want to limit who I give info to

The remaining funds we deposited will be released on Wednesday (May 3rd) and we should have all remaining Payza cashouts completed by Thursday (May 4th).

Tango Card Cashout - Wyre
5 May 2017 08:35 am
Members we are sorry to report that Tango Card has removed Wyre, the bitcoin option for cashouts. This is the announcement they sent to us:

"Recently we switched our supplier of Bitcoin rewards from Snapcard to Wyre because Snapcard discontinued operations. With the change, we had anticipated minimal customer and end-user impact. However, the recent changes in crypto-currency regulations, including increased identity and account verification and an increase in the minimum denomination/amount available to send or transfer Bitcoins, has caused poor end-user experience.

Our goal is to provide recipients with a hassle-free reward experience. After reviewing all aspects of the switch, we decided it would be best to remove Bitcoin from our catalogs. This decision did not come lightly and we apologize for how this will impact your own programs."

Tango Card has advised us they are adding new options on their platform for our international members. We should have these new options in Tango in the next week. In the meantime we suggest that if you wish to use Tango Card that you select the Prepaid Virtual Visa.

Thank you

is it never going to end?  :(

Quote:
Members, more than 10 years ago we came online strictly as a PTC. As all things go, the ClixSense business model has changed over the years and with the addition of Crowdflower tasks, offers and surveys our core business has shifted. No longer are we just a PTC, but instead ClixSense has grown to be one of the top performing survey networks in the world.

While our survey, task and offer business has grown significantly, the PTC side of our business has been on a downward slide for some time now and more so since the loss of Paypal back in February.

Being in the PTC industry has it's positives and negatives. The positive side of things is that we can provide you with an easy way to earn a little money and for advertisers we can send a large amount of traffic to their websites for a very reasonable price. The negative side of things is a bit more extreme. This caused us to lose our Paypal account (or so they claim), it places us into a high risk category any time we apply for a merchant account or new payment processor. It gives companies a negative feeling about us because this industry is loaded with fraud. What I mean by that is companies who we've approached to partner with us refuse to do so because of our affiliation with PTC. And lastly, from a revenue standpoint, it's not profitable at all.

With the negatives out weighing the positives, and after 10 years in the PTC business, we have decided to move forward without PTC. Beginning July 15th, 2017 PTC ads will be removed from ClixSense. Along with the removal of PTC we have also decided to remove ClixGrid and the premium upgrades, including the corresponding 8-level commission structure. As of today, July 1st we will stop selling upgrades, PTC advertising and ClixGrid. Those of you who have ad credits on your account may still use them until July 15th. Any member who has purchased an upgrade in the last 24 hours will be immediately refunded today. We are stopping the sales so any remaining ad credits or ClixGrid campaigns can expire.

With the removal of upgrades we will no longer have 2 membership types. Instead, all members will have the same policies and options available to them and this includes cashouts. We have decided that we will raise the minimum cashout for all members to $10.00. This is still very reasonable and lower than many other companies in this vertical.

1/2 more...

Title: Re: ClixSense News
Post by moneymarketing on 1st Jul, 2017 at 11:03pm

Quote:
So what does all this mean?
Well, a lot actually. Any member who had purchased an upgrade in the last year will receive a prorated refund for any unused portion of their upgrade. This refund will be credited back to your account balance on or shortly after July 15th. The amount of prorated refund will be credited at 4.5 cents per day remaining on your premium account. This refund includes those sponsors who have purchased an upgrade for a referral.

We know with the removal of upgrades and the 8 tier affiliate program that this may have an impact on some members with a large downline. To compensate for this ClixSense will now pay an incredible 20% commission on all direct referral activities. We will offer a single level affiliate program only and this commission is the same for all members as we will no longer have 2 different membership types. This change makes all members equal so everyone will have the same earning potential. This means if you are a standard member now (not upgraded) this change has given you a 200% increase in affiliate commissions (from 5% to 20%). For those members who are premium this is a 100% increase from your current affiliate commissions (from 10% to 20%).

* Please note, the 20% affiliate commission may be adjusted at a later date. We will keep this at 20% for a short time and then we will review our numbers and adjust from there, if necessary. If we end up lowering the commission, it should not be reduced to lower than 15%, which is still more than a premium member was making.

This new higher commission will generate more money for you than what the 8 tier affiliate program did. The reason is more members will do surveys, tasks and offers than those that would purchase an upgrade. In some cases this change can boost a members earnings significantly.

The checklist bonus will now give a possible 10% bonus to all members and the requirement for clicking PTC ads & ClixGrid will be removed.

Daily Checklist Bonus 7.0%
Activity Extra Bonus 2.0%
ClixAddon Extra Bonus 1.0%
Maximum Possible Bonus 10.0%

We realize this may come as a surprise to you but this is a change that had to be done. ClixSense will continue to be the best it can be and move forward because of your support. We are always looking for new ways for you to earn money and will not stop trying to improve our service.

Along with all these changes you will also notice a brand new look for ClixSense. A new website layout with a responsive design (mobile friendly) that is very pleasing to look at and easy to use.

So to recap:
• PTC ads will be removed.
• ClixGrid will be removed
• Premium upgrades and the corresponding 8-level commission structure, removed
• Minimum cashout for all members is $10.00
• Affiliate commissions upped to 20% for all members
• Checklist bonus will now pay a maximum of 10% if all requirements met.

We appreciate your business and welcome your comments, questions or ideas.

Thank you
The ClixSense Team

One small consolation is that we actually earned the most from our referrals on the 1st level anyway. And now they raised the 1st level commission to 20%.

However, another issue would now be what would be the attraction or incentive to get others to join?

Yes, this site was best promoted in other PTCs as a PTC. That is an intangible. Also, if referrers are now angry at the site and revolt, then they could lose a big chunk of their referring base.

I guess they figure they get enough from google that they don't need referrers any more. I know I had them on pause since the removal of paypal and now I think it is time to move on. I was using them to promote PV but now that this is no longer and option I'll be keeping my cash in PV and reinvesting

and this is very bad form. There were a lot of poor people who depended on their site that did not qualify for surveys that could click. That was the market I targeted for referrals and one of the reasons I bought ads that all members could qualify for there

This all smacks of a GOB move where he wants to just focus on the cream of the site while cutting out the 'riffraff' but this almost always backfires.

Now that he is going to be a survey only site, first, people in PTCs no longer need to send people there and his competition in the PTCs that do offer surveys only need to adjust their commissions so as to make the clickers come to the PTC sites first for the same surveys plus the bonus of clicks

as for the first level benefits, many of those people usually stop working after a time, so you need to keep feeding in more. The longer term benefits came from the referrers you could find who built the lower levels. You knew they had an incentive to stay because they had a team under them.

Look at me for example. I have referred 14,000 members and only 764 are active. Meanwhile I have over 7000 through 8 levels. So I have regained half hose referrals via multi level benefits

I'm talking about the 8 levels of referrals. I was targeting that. I am up to 74 referrals on my 8th level. Most of that has come this year so the multi level benefits were just starting to roll and now that is all gone

Clixsense will remain open. It'll just be a task, survey and offer site. And there will no longer be any PTC ads for the members to click on.

Wow.. this is kind of a bummer.. it's sad to see a PTC with such a good history in the industry changing its course so drastically..

Maybe the removal of PTC sites will cause some advertisers to use its Tasks/Offers option now so more of those will be available to more members.. but lack of PTCs will be kind of devastating for the site's traffic/ranking etc.

The more I think of this the more it looks like he is just wanting to skim the cream off the top and work with maybe a few hundred K premium survey takers. If this is the case then he is throwing away the rest of the site in order to save himself work.

He is putting a lot of people through pain for no reason

If this is the case I hope the truth comes out because he has been inconsistent with some of his statements

Or maybe the program also having way too many members that were willing to do tons of clicks just to cash out few bucks without putting any money in, not even purchasing the cheap upgrade (i.e. especially compared to some of the other affiliate programs), also caught up with them a little.

Affiliate signup commissions update
10 Jul 2017 02:53 pm

Effective July 17th ALL members will get the following signup commissions:

$0.30 signup commission on new active affiliates in top tier countries.
$0.10 signup commission on new active affiliates in other countries.

Top Tier Countries:

New Zealand
Norway
Poland
Portugal
Saudi Arabia
Singapore
South Africa
South Korea
Spain
Sweden
Switzerland
Thailand
United Arab Emirates
United Kingdom
United States

*Due to some members who try to abuse our system and create multiple fake accounts or use PTSU we do not pay affiliate signup commissions instantly.

There were also some questions on whether the $5.00 bonus for every $50.00 earned in completed tasks was being removed. It is not being removed and will remain.

We will review these commissions each 90 days to see how effective they are and change them if needed but we do not expect any changes as this has worked for us in the past.

Thank you

My first line referrals (which is all I have now since they wiped out about 10K of them through 8 levels) are at least doing some work and staying around. I'm really thankful I hadn't become dependent on this income when it happened. They say if you want to work for yourself then your income should replace your work income for a year before you go. That way you build up a years worth of income plus you don't lose the cash flow you need to live on.

But are you going backwards or forwards? And if backwards, where will the site be in six months or a year?

Considering I've sent thousands of dollars in advertising to that site I'd like to think I could have built a residual income but it looks like that will not be the case and that is mainly due to mismanagement (neo and PV are still doing fine with their PTCs)

In a last ditch attempt to get my earnings going I sent over 100 referrals to the site but earnings have dropped all the more. Clearly I am wasting my time and money on them

Anyway, NOT MY FAULT. I told them not to do this. If they did it for selfish reasons or malicious ones (to target certain types of earners) then they will need to deal with the 'karma' for lack of a better term

About $7.71 were from the referrals' offers.

I'm seeing lots of complaints on their boards. Especially from promoters. I'm glad you're willing to slurp up an 80% pay cut. This is all starting to remind me of the plantation days of the old TE's. I wonder how much of a pay cut the admin took?

I still don't understand your logic. Like I said, I was disappointed with the changes as well. But like I said unless we can change it, we might as well look at it from "better that we still get something from them than nothing at all".

My logic "cause of all we've invested in the past, better that we still get something from them, than nothing at all".

Your logic "cause of all we've invested in the past, the program is going down, down..."

There's an old Greek saying I've just recalled.. a terrible translation of that would be:

"Better 5  in the hand, than 10 and waiting.."

It basically means it's better to get just $5 directly in your pocket instantly, than having to wait to be credited $10.. mainly cause it leaves less room for fraud transactions, crossed deadlines.. etc.

So, it's always better if we can earn more, but it's even better to get paid on time even if the amount is less.
At least it's still profitable plus they keep on paying, so the program is still on the positive side.

Which is better? :-?

my logic is more about continuing to support a program like this. We don't really know what is going on behind the scenes. Yes, we should continue to take our hard earned cash out but that aside they changed the program for no good reason and hurt a lot of people. This is similar to a move the old TEs would pull. That was my point.

Most of them died. You can't hurt the little people and your big supporters and expect to continue with community goodwill as we have seen in the past

Yes, they might survive but they certainly don't deserve it

There's an old Greek saying I've just recalled.. a terrible translation of that would be:

"Better 5  in the hand, than 10 and waiting.."

It basically means it's better to get just $5 directly in your pocket instantly, than having to wait to be credited $10.. mainly cause it leaves less room for fraud transactions, crossed deadlines.. etc.

So, it's always better if we can earn more, but it's even better to get paid on time even if the amount is less.
At least it's still profitable plus they keep on paying, so the program is still on the positive side.

I'm pretty sure that doesn't count for 80% commission cuts for no honest reason except that the owner doesn't like being called an MLM

He wants to play with the googles of the world and is completely abandoning the people who got him there

Yes, that's kinda my thinking. Better that we continue to be paid by them than nothing at all. We have nothing to lose or possibly some to gain to continue to look at it from this perspective. Can't change the past.

Actually they can change the past. They could go back to their old commission structure and bring back the ptcs

My thinking is that he is making (hypothetically of course) 1000 in revenue from the 14K referrals that he wouldn't have had I not advertised for him. He was paying $500 out in commissions. So instead now he is making $1000 in revenue and keeping $900 in revenue.

That is completely unethical considering he would not have those referrals without my 8 years of effort

That is ingratitude

I'm sorry for your case MM, however there's little we can do other than accept it here..
Have you tried contacting the admin directly on this one?

I still don't understand your "cause I'm angry at them, I'm willing to hurt myself in the process..." logic? :-?

If anything, I still feel I'm I'm benefiting from an after effect from my past efforts, investments and all. To the point that I may even actually be earning more with less. Sure, I may not be earning as much as I used to. But at the same time, I'm not investing nor spending as much time on it as I was for a while there, etc.

Please don't offend each other.. it's not nice.. I would also ask MM to point us to specific posts beside that one.. Not "ironically" though.. I'm honestly looking for them..
I used the link, to see the latest active discussions.. and couldn't find people talking about the recent changes. I thought they would be the top discussions prior to clicking it.

After searching a bit, I did find one or two posts where people are talking about the removal of referral levels but just by looking the whole list of active topics, it seems to me that most people have simply moved on with it..

I'm really sorry to say this but maybe it's better if we accept it as well, and focus on what the program has to offer as is..
Of course you did get invested personally and financially in building your downline all the way down to 8 levels and it was working perfectly, but they did remove all that. I understand it, and that was really unfair by them, I do agree.

Something positive is that they didn't touch your first tier of referrals. They could have put a limit on them as well.. but at least they didn't.
Sure the earnings do not compare to what they were before but if they simply closed down the site there would be no earnings at all, no space for recovery and they could have done that.. like others have done so in the past.

Removing the whole PTC section AND the downline levels was a direct hit under the belt to referrers like you.
However apart from that it also felt like they were digging their own grave.. but well, they're still there..

So, as long as they are still there, we need to look at it as a new program because it basically is... only bonus is that you still have your first tier or referrals. It's still better than nothing.. if the program provides a good earning opportunity, they will still be profitable in the long term, if not there's little we can do about it.. It's just not up to us.

It's not even healthy to focus on what is lost or what we "could have" potentially earned if [...].
We can't really predict the future.. we evaluate the present based on the past and take advantage of the current situation.

So.. try to think of it as another PTCBox-like event..
What have we learnt from it, what can we benefit from its current state and how can this prove to be beneficial in the future? (practically or even as an experience)

Yes. That's pretty much kinda my thinking. Whereas I'm also trying to encourage him to have such similar thoughts. For his own sake. Rather than his being his own worse enemy and making the situation worse than it has to be.

It seems almost as if we're left with these two choices:

Choice A - quit in disgust and not get a single penny more from the program thus doing even more harm to the time, energy and money spent on the program in the past.

Choice B - continue to get something from the program and earn hundreds even thousands from it? And still somewhat benefiting from your past time, energy and money.

Now which one looks better to you? ;)

This one is probably the best microcosm of the negative posts that survived:

No, there are not a lot of votes but the forum is not usually that active so this represents the most active members. That still says 50% are seeing things as being worse.

I'm making money still too. I'm just wondering why they have resorted to sending us survey notifications. Sometime more than one in a day. That seems desperate. No other ptc I know sends survey notifications.

That's not new. :)

I have been receiving survey notifications from them even before the changes.

Basically I was only logging in whenever a survey notification arrived in my inbox, as they were the actual way I was earning on CS. :)

Maybe there was an increase in their number after the changes since more people focused on them.

I used to get maybe one per week at the most. Then This week I'm getting one almost every day and I have two in one day the other day. They definitely changed their pattern. The question is why?

Well, it's still a good amount to earn. :)

Though I guess the investment amount is probably the bigger issue.. if the same investment that got you ~$4700, now got you only ~$2100, it's acceptable to be a bit upset.

However if it keeps paying like that without efforts then it's still cool.

Unless things change it will be closer to $1200 this year. Most of those earnings were either generating new referrals (about 200 per month) or being spent on advertising at CS

That said, I did make a huge profit there and they were responsible for most of my PV referrals

Most of it is from days long gone though. I'm barely earning $100 p/m. That's good for ptc but at the peak, I was earning $500. Since I'm not promoting anymore that should only continue to drop

One thing you can do is to use points to promote the program this way you'll have "no where but up to go". And whatever earnings you generate from it would still be more than you had with just the points.

Or you could use it as a filler, particularly for free, here and there. In programs whereas you may have zillions of extra credits and they aren't being used up quickly and so forth.

That role has been taken by R4A. Since they pay for promoting, you get a much better return than CS and you still get referrals. For banner space I use my own personal PV banner which does a much better job than the generic CS banners that don't work well at all.

They have put zero effort into testing and making new banners and it shows. Even though I told them how they should run a design contest for banners and then advertise them all and pay the winners based on results, they have not done anything like that. Instead, they just ignore the advice of people who are expert at getting referrals for their sites.

Well then, this expert gets better results from other sites so I will go somewhere else

That what I like about this industry. It is capitalism in action. If someone innovates to the benefit of their member/customers, they get ahead. If others don't use the same innovations for their people, they fall behind. The crowd decides. CS has been struggling for years and no one promotes them anymore. This is forcing them to do things to win that crowd back. I'm not sure they will do enough but we shall see

No one promotes them anymore? I wouldn't go that far. I'm still seeing it everywhere in the net.

Yes, it is around but nowhere like it used to be. Currently at Neobux, arguably the best feeder for CS, there are no ads for CS. In its heyday, the problem I was having was there would be three and four ads at a time for CS. These were big spenders whose ads would be up for days ($100+). So those are gone now

Welcome to ySense
by ySensePosted onJuly 31, 2019

ySense is the new home for Clixsense members. It has all of the same features you’ve grown to love plus new earning opportunities and reward options. Here is what you need to know about ySense.com:

New earning opportunities

We are adding surveys from new providers like ProdegeMR, offers to make money from top brands like Uber and Tidal and we will start adding new ways to earn over time

New Reward options

    Paypal is back!

Gift cards from top global brands like Amazon and more

Pre-paid MasterCard / VISA (in select countries)

Affiliate program

Richest affiliate program in the industry
With more ways to earn being introduced over time, your affiliate fees will continue growing

Bonus opportunities

Weekly Task contest paused this week but will start again next week

Earn Daily Checklist Bonus (see rules)

Is there anything missing?

Not every offer wall or survey partner will be live today. Some have been discontinued because their offers or surveys were duplicates and paid less than what you could find elsewhere on the site.

Others are being integrated into the site as we speak but didn’t make the cut for launch. We appreciate your patience as we get everything settled.

I have more questions!

We know you may have a lot of questions and the forums will be buzzing but we also curated an FAQ for you to find answers about more specific questions.

We have also setup a live link to our Customer Service team to report any bugs you encounter during our first day on the air. While we don’t expect any major issues we are standing by to address them as they are found so please don’t be shy and report them here. There may be awards out there for helping us out…

Last but not least, our Customer Service team is standing by ready to address all your needs.

As always we appreciate your continued support and look forward to your input in making ySense better every day

apparently, the company that now owns them is the same as swagbucks. I might test their referring if I get around to it but both Dan and I have not had great results with them honoring affiliate commissions at swagbucks.

and paypal....  ::) [smiley=sad.gif]

They may have just killed their site...   [smiley=sad.gif]

CS may have just killed itself

and paypal....

In fairness to CS, if you check its forum, you'd see that a lot of the members had been asking to bring back Paypal.

One possible good thing about it is that it may have no fees. As opposed to some of the other processors that did charge you fees for the transactions.

We could also benefit from this:

Quote:
Increase your commission level up to 30%: If you have a minimum of 100 or more active referrals with at least one transaction in the past 30 days you get an additional 5% affiliate commission making your affiliate commission 25%. If you have 200 or more active referrals you get an additional 10% affiliate commission, making your affiliate commissions a whopping 30%!

We both know how spotty swagbucks is with the referring. I wouldn't be surprised if the same was done here.

The payout threshold for paypal is something like $25. How many will stick around for that?

And people asking for paypal shows how clueless they are regarding what paypal does to people. If they don't think paypal will burn them the first chance they get then they are lying to themselves

And why no bitcoin? Everyone in the industry wants bitcoin so why is it not even an option? That tells you they have little intention of paying people. This seems like a scam

It was also kind of cowardly for them to sell the company out from under people and not say anything. He wrecked the company and just quit. Way to wreck everyone's opportunity  >:(

Campaign tracking is working. I won't run a serious ad until the site gets settled. I hope it works. At least our commissions are still flowing. Are you seeing more or fewer commissions than before Dan?

The campaign tracking is working although it looks like the past stats had been deleted. It's too early to tell regarding the commissions.

So from 59 clicks at PTCS, Ysense says I got 30 unique, 53 total clicks. Not too bad. No signups, but that was expected

I meant the past campaign stats. Seems that they've been deleted.

They have but you can still get your basic earnings. It is enough to eyeball if they have gone up or down. Mine seem a bit lower

It looks like this one is all but dead.

I earned $8.27 this month. At the peak I earned around $500 in a month and that was growing at 10% monthly. This was before the owner destroyed the PTC section and burned the affiliates. This was the one that really killed it for me in this industry. I will never forget that selfish act of the owner who put google links in a greater priority than the people who got him there and literally made him millions when he sold.

I hope he is enjoying his blood money

Well. I made $45 last month (i.e. in March). There are still many members that are still making a good use of the site doing surveys, offers and even some PTC's. And if you check the forum, you could see that there are still many members that are still getting paid and all.

Most of my people have quit and no one wants to join. I guess the site is only for certain types of members.

I guess I could be happy about a site that stole ten levels of referrals from me and my opportunity at income. Maybe I should show more gratitude.

You don't necessarily have to. Just wanted to point out that some members are still making a good use of the site. That's all.
