Title: Ojooo.com Information
Post by SolidSnake on 18th Nov, 2013 at 8:23pm
Could somebody please explain to me why all the fuss about this ojooo.com?
Within such a short time it reached over 1.300.000 members.. are they throwing out money or what?
Their advertising prices are not so welcoming, plus I don't see why everyone is so crazy out promoting it..

Could somebody provide inside information on it, please?

Maybe this has something to do with it

I haven't been able to figure out what that means on the site after searching it  :dontknow

Sounds like a Matrix.. doesn't it?  :-?

Maybe if you upgrade you receive that commission from your referrals upgrades?

I didn't see anything of the sort. Seems like a regular PTC site for me, with rented refs.
The member count probably has to do with the big network they already had before starting the PTC business.
However it seems lately there's been lots of complaints on the forum about the lack of rented referrals earnings.

It seems to be gaining a lot of ground lately..  Is anyone already on the program?

It has almost 2.5 million users and it seems  to be doing fine so far..
I was wondering if it would be worth a shot with rented referrals..

Some time ago I browsed around their forum and found a lot of pessimism regarding rented referrals, and not many positive reviews. It seems now things are looking a bit better, but I'd still be careful. Just from looking around it's hard to tell what kinds of rental extensions you can make, how much recycling costs and if there's free recycle....

[EDIT]Oh, and there seems to be some payment delays: http://www.ptc-investigation.com/ojooo.php [/EDIT]

Is there a page where they host the payment proofs alltogether so we can see where they are right now?

Also I've read that they also sell referrals.. that might be more risky though but permanent referrals match my style more.
Anyways, I'll give them more time to see if they can get back on track..

Honestly, I don't like bought referrals very much. I've done that at Twickerz, and while you get some clicks at the beggining, gradually they stop clicking. Just like rented referrals. Unlike rentals, you can't recycle those, and they cost a bunch more.
Really bad deal, if you ask me.

I've had a bit more luck with bought referrals at CashNhits, but I think it's still inefficient.

Hi,

I joined Ojoo end of december, they paid me twice already but there is a 8-10 days delay between request and payment.

When I joined, the referrer received 10$ when one of their downline upgraded, I don't see that listed anymore as a benefit tho.

HTH :)

Congrats Sophie! Is it also a PTP?

Title: Re: Ojooo.com Information
Post by ruicarlov on 25th Feb, 2014 at 7:44pm
To the best of my knowledge it's not.

I'm considering joining and investing there, but not right now. I have neither the money available nor enough trust in it. When it reaches closer to 1 year of activity I might reconsider it.

Not even PTCbox made it that far, so I think 1 year is a good enough threshold.
In hindsight I shouldn't have joined PTCSolution either, since it was also new. It's holding up for now, but there have been some close calls so far.

Title: Re: Ojooo.com Information

Ok, what does Ojooo have that other PTCs don't? Or is it just like another Neobux program or something?

Thanks!

Title: Re: Ojooo.com Information

I upgraded for 39$ for one year, I have a few 2 cent ads, some 1 cent ads and many 1/5th of a cent ads daily + the more or less 100 clicks from my refs each day gives me around 30 cent a day.

Standard members have 1 cent, 1/2 cent and 1/10th of a cent ads

There are plenty of other things I didn't look at .. yet

- Renting referrals
- Higher upgrades with possibility to have a website with free hosting and domain
- Auction shop
- Paid to sign up and offers

No PTP available
I use it as a simple PTC for now, have too much work to make a splashpage and promote it but I clearly intend to promote it as soon as I have more time.

Do upgrade memberships also include random referrals?

Title: Re: Ojooo.com Information

Nope

It gives you commission when ref upgrade, higher paying links to click on, higher referral earnings, unlimited referrals possibility, lower cash out minimum etc ...

One year is reasonable but two years is golden. It has been my experience that even a ponzi can last two years but for some reason they start choking and sputtering by the end of the second year (edit: if the scammer is a good con artist, is good at the money shell game and can talk a good game too. Most won't last a year before people notice and stop promoting). By near to half way in to the second year there are usually glaring problems that have the site dead by the end of that year.

Many PTCs will also start experiencing payment troubles in the second year if they are not run honestly

I lost 15 refs and wondered what happened and here comes the admin message :
Admin news: Direct referrals
According to the regulations were removed today users who have been inactive for longer than 60 days. Therefore, if anyone observes a lower amount direct referrals on his account, this is not a system error.

By the way I read today that ojooo lie about their members count...

Their homepage's member and ad views indicators are javascript counters that keep counting even if you get disconnected from your internet connection..

It's a marketing trick and it's no big deal but lying about such facts is not a good way to treat your members and potential advertisers..

Title: Re: Ojooo.com Information
Post by ruicarlov on 29th Apr, 2014 at 7:16pm
I'm not saying that they don't lie about their numbers. But the counter might not be in real time and based on an average daily growth. A bit like this: http://www.worldometers.info/world-population/wp.php?utm_expid=4939992-7.scuhn054Q5WXvFD9uRG9Xw.1&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com%2F

I doubt they know by the second how many births there are.  :P

Yes, that is possible. It may take a number from the cache when you are on the site and then just averages up.

I wonder if Clixsense's numbers work the same way?

Well.. I was clicking ads on PV and my eye just caught this :

Does anyone have a clue on their grid ad pack prices?

With their traffic volume there could be a value-for-money option if they are not too greedy on their sales' prices..

Yes, that is what I was thinking too. Once you get above a certain number of members then, even if it can't be good for revenue, it can at least be good for marketing. And since the people are PTCers, they are a very good market to market to

Their Grid is click-based, not time-based.
It's basically another form of buying PTC ads, only with a diferent tag, and 30% cheaper than regular ads. Which basically means expensive as hell: 2.85$ per 1000 clicks

What's the status on this thing? It is still going strong, I see their ads around and now they are producing an ICO?

Once again they look great for advertising. Their prices seem somewhat reasonable (20 euro for a one day banner)

I'd like to test their ads at least. I'm running out of places to advertise. Neobux seems the only reliable spot but they have banned paidverts so the options are limited for that. R4A also does not allow gambling sites, so it is difficult

That's a raw deal  :-/

I'm only going to go into this for the advertising. Hopefully, they have improved their admin. I'm not planning to make money there.

Does anyone want to jump in on top? No guarantees but you might make some commissions. Even if they don't pay you might be able to convert to advertising

My first impressions are that the site looks good from an advertising perspective. They look like the typical PTC on the inside.

I bought two banner campaigns which seem to be the most reasonable value. Everything else but the fixed ads I'll probably ignore. I'm so glad sites undervalue the great advertising benefit that banners are.

The one day banner ad that sells for $20 has produced over 32000 impressions and 35 clicks in a half day. This one sells on their site and you don't need to be a member to buy. I assume it is targeted to corporate buyers because you can't buy with crypto. Only credit, bank transfers or debit

The 7 day banner that goes for $20 also is for members. You can fund it with crypto and it is probably priced to be PTC competitive. They don't tell you how many impressions you get but after a half day I have 35 clicks there also. That should work out to about $3 for 60 clicks per day if it holds up.

Of those 70 clicks total, four new members have joined at PV. All are active and three have already earned me click commissions

My next step will be to test the rented referrals. If they are like Neo or if they are like other PTCs. If I can turn a profit with them then that can be a source of internal advertising funding. No need to cash out and no need for the potential problems that Rui faced.

There is not much here at this site to get excited about. The fixed ads can't compete with Neobux. The only real ad benefit is the banners. They are still a pretty good deal. The rented referrals look like they could turn a profit but we know how those things change as you scale and upgrade so I'm going to try to turn a profit on them with 200 and see how it goes

If I can profit like YGP and have that pay for my advertising then that is at least a small win but I don't think this will change lives

Because the user base is so large the banner ads should convert well
