Wow, today I was going to buy an ad here and found out my Paypal account had been limited and I needed to confirm some of my information.

I found out that two unauthorized transactions had been made June 27th, with someone buying things and sending them to Indonesia.
I immediately opened a dispute "Unauthorized transaction". For once I thank Paypal's account limiting at the drop of a hat. Guess there is a reason for all that security, after all.
Not funny getting $170 stolen.

Be careful everyone and check your account regularly, just in case. I still have no idea how someone entered. I never clicked any pishing emails.

Well sometimes scamming program owners might try to gain access to your email or your PayPal account, that's why it is vital to never use your PayPal password elsewhere..

Also whenever you are required to log in to your account make sure you are on the right site by checking out the site's encryption license with the help of your browser..

And of course be careful when using unencrypted WiFi networks..

The problem is that you can never be 100% safe so maybe it would be wise not to let your balance climb too high without withdrawing...

That's true, but it kinda sucks if you work with dollars and your bank account is in euro. Often you'll need to reuse that money in dollars, so withdrawing and depositing means you're giving away money to Paypal and their ridiculous (well, all payments procesors have them) currency exchange fees.
And you all know that Paypal won't let you use a bank account in USD unless you have an account in the States. Which is something that's not exactly easy to do if you don't live there.
