Title: What do you think about LeadsLeap?
Post by venkat on 15th Mar, 2016 at 12:57pm
I have just seen this website LeadsLeap.com

Somewhere I saw someone saying it exists since 2003, but this is the first time I hear.

The website design seems to be pretty good. It seems to be a revenue sharing site, with no requirement to purchase anything. Their credit system also looks different. (I signed up just to look what's inside and so far it's interesting.)

Many of you might have heard it already. Do you have a experience?

I see "2008-2016" at the bottom of the LeadsLeap page.

how many members? Do you know?

I don't know how many members. In the testimonial on the home page one person says "I have been member for several years.".

But as Dansbanners said it says 2008-2016. Also it says LeadsLeap version 2.0. May be there were earlier versions? :dontknow

That will be a good indicator of site quality. Even if they have been around since 2008, and I seem to recall the name it is just not very prominent in my memory, they should have a pretty large user base at this point. If they only have 20K members or so that should be a cause for concern since many PTCs would have hundreds of thousands or millions of members in that time.

So if they only have a small user base we need to find out why. Are their commissions too low? Are they not playing straight with members? Are they skimming referrals? If their user base is fairly prominent, like over 1 million, then why aren't we seeing it promoted more? If you say neobux or clixsense, everyone immediately knows who you are talking about. So sometimes length of years in the industry can be just as bad for a site as a small amount of time in the industry

Well. By the name LeadsLeap, I guess they might have been focussing on lead generation for MLMs and that may be the reason for not becoming popular despite the number of years. May be now they just turned their eye towards this GPT/RevShare industry. Still we may have to wait and see how they perform here.

keep an eye on it. Maybe do some test spends to see what kind of returns it offers

I like the way they are focusing on the advertiser's point of view..
The "Earn As You Surf" feature is an interesting change to the typical 5 second timers on PTCs.

They also seem to have done a good work with their activity tracker that ensures that your visitor is actually active on your page in order to keep being credited, instead of simply waiting for a timer to end just to click the next one.. That's an advertising plus.

What bothers me is that they don't state any prices anywhere.. We actually need to sign up to view their price tags which is kind of discouraging..   :dontknow

The price is $27 per month for upgrade. They say they deliver 600 unique visitors a month (something around 5 cents per visitor)

That price is a bit steep. IMHO.

You can get much better prices than that from some of the other programs, including some right here in the forum. ;)

Yes, for four times more you can pick up 700,000 at donkey mails  [smiley=lolx.gif]

PTC mentality versus traffic exchange mentality always makes me laugh  ;D

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?
Post by venkat on 18th Mar, 2016 at 6:27am
I don't know. (I haven't done this kind of advertising before.)

They have a widget which members can have on their blog / website and the traffic is delivered through that too, besides the widget system in member's area. (I believe most of the traffic might come from members, because there is a need to view 10 ads a day for revenue share.)

The frequency of pro members' ad on the widget may be more and the chance of unique visitors may be more. But can't be sure though.

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?
Post by SolidSnake on 18th Mar, 2016 at 11:58pm
Well with their advanced system it would make sense to have a higher price than typical PTCs and TEs.. however it's a bit too high IMO..

My best bet though is that one would get more conversions for a PTC program by showing his link to 100.000 PTC users on another one than to just use LeadsLeap and only publish it to 600 unique users, that may actually be much less if we're talking about unique on a 24h basis..

So, not showing prices without logging in, almost shouted that there is a catch.. not necessarily related to the price..
When one registers he has already signed a spam acceptance deal with the site whether he purchases anything or not..

So the site is already in profit through free advertising.. possibly by again using their own custom system..  ;D

Speaking of spam emails, again I am little surprised that they send only one email a day. (While registering, they ask for our preferred time to send the email.)

Still I am trying to catch the catch, but can't figure until now.

The catch is that once again you become their product by signing up.. :)

I would like to be able to advertise on a program with the option to not having to get spammed at all for doing so..
If I wanted to join to earn maybe I wouldn't mind.. but when I simply join as an advertiser it's kind of different..

In case I advertise on 20 different such programs regularly, I would have to deal with 20 spam emails daily, that's not cool..  :P
And they can always send more.. plus they could also sell your email to third parties without you ever knowing, which could lead to more spam..

Compared to safelists, I consider this better. (And thanks to Gmail's super effective spam filters).

Yet, as you said there is a chance that they might sell our email to 3rd parties. The thing is I have separate email for safelists and other GPTs, but leadsleap specifically says to use PayPal ID. (They pay via PayPal and just take the email we use to sign up as our PayPal ID).

Just for information, in the last 5 days I earned 10 cents as RevShare and converted 50 credits into 12 cents (total 22 cents). Seems better, let's see.

I never use my PayPal email as contact email on PTCs.. I prefer to keep these things separated.
But anyways, if the program is profitable and possibly worthy, please keep us up to date on it. :)

So far it looks good earnings. Around 2 ~ 3 cents as Revenue share everyday + So far I converted 200 credits into 51 cents. Overall $1.10 in 14 or 15 days. Not a bad start.

Also I got 18 referrals so far, but they earn me around 10 credits a day. Since I have less than 20 referrals I am eligible for one level referral earning only. Once I get 20, I will become eligible for 10 level earning. That should be powerful, if it lasts long. Let's see.

Well, it's definitely not a bad start. :)

Since the program is not too popular, is it easy for you to get referrals to sign up?
Also are they mostly active or do most of them give up?
And something else that is important... do you know if you have to purchase something to earn or withdraw?

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?
Post by venkat on 2nd Apr, 2016 at 6:12pm
Yeah. It is little easier to get referrals at present. I got all the 19 from one forum. I haven't started promoting yet anywhere else.

And yes I know, no investment required. (They don't promise much for upgraded members. (The membership chart says "upgraded members earn double the revenue share (do not upgrade for this reason. Consider it a bonus)".

To keep the referrals active, I am thinking of preparing a guide. Only if they can get referrals I can sustain the success.

As of now, it seems my referrals are active. (I am earning around 10 credits from my referrals, which means they are earning 200 credits overall.
)

A thing I've learned is that, once you start making a good income and even before if you dare, is to tell your referrals where you get your referrals from. This may defer income on the short term but if you have multilevel downlines,  this will explode them. Plus, it creates huge loyalty when your referrals realize you are being honest with them and have done the hard work. It is better to have 100 referrals advertising and competing for the ad spot you gave them then to spend all your money on it yourself. Even if you are only making 10% of the income from your second level, if you can get 20 people doing that you are going to make twice as much with zero cost  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

I just tried their advertising too. I set up a Free ad for my paidtologin link.

32 real visits
12 rejected (means credit not deducted from my account)
20 net real visits

Also someone voted for my ad too. It has 4 stars now. Wow.. 12 votes.

It seems true because I had only 20 credits. Also I got one sign up in paidtologin.

So far so good.

Two days back I emailed my PaidToLogin sponsor and asked her to join LeadsLeap and it was a surprise for me.

She said

It is unfortunate I did not know you are not at leadsleap I am a member since long and its a good site where u will get advertising plus money.

She is a good promoter and also a good team builder. (She has her own downline builder for GDI, PaidToLogin, SFI and few other programs.

:o  [smiley=07-whaat.gif] I blame myself for not checking with her before joining LeadsLeap. Her co-op could have been useful to me.

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?

After 40 days I am at $2.10. The daily revenue share is around the same 2.5 ~ 3 cents a day.

Instead of converting my credits into money, I just tried their advertising. I used around 70 credits each, for an affiliate product, my PaidToLogin link and my donkeymails link. I got 15 PaidToLogin referrals, no sales and no donkeymails referrals.

If I can grow referrals in 10 levels, I may make some considerable money. As of now it is like just ok for me.

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?
Post by venkat on 25th Apr, 2016 at 6:14pm
Since I used the same ad space for all (I mean I edit the URL and the body of the same ad) it is a consolidated stats.

Total visits 142
Rejected 33
Valid visits 109
Last week 67

Little expensive, but I can't compare the quality with TE or PTC.

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?
Post by SolidSnake on 25th Apr, 2016 at 7:32pm
Wow, and you got 15 PaidToLogin signups from less than 109 visitors?!?

That's a bit crazy.. :D

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?
Post by venkat on 25th Apr, 2016 at 8:04pm
The "rejected" may not be really invalid visit. For many people may not wait until the widget loads. (There is no top frame or bottom frame like TE / PTC but an Adsense-like widget overlaps the site we view. It is collapsible / expandable, so non-intrusive.) Occasionally it takes little time to load and some people may just sign up and jump to next ad, but no credits.

So let's take it 15 referrals in 142 visits.

Yes. It is free to join. (We need to sign up using paypal email.)

Upgrading to just boost the earnings may not be profitable. Upgraded members don't need to surf daily for revshare and there is doubled revshare. But in the end the monthly earnings may be hardly around $10 or less.

Upgrade is for advertisers, who may feel happy if they earn back something.

Also there are free referrals provided when you upgrade.

$2.93 after 54 days.

My earnings should start to grow hereafter, I expect. I got 20 direct referrals and 17 in the next levels (gone to 4th level).

My paidtologin referral count went to 24.  ::)

I have promoted in Easyhits, EMS forum and Facebook but no new sign ups to leadsleap. No idea why. May be I am targetting wrong audience.

Question, do they offer referral tracking?

Etc. when you get a new referral does the system tell you which site he clicked your referral link on?

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?
Post by venkat on 9th May, 2016 at 8:28pm
Their referral URL has that option. Not our regular ref.link, but we can use their tracker.

Quote:
For example, let's say you have a tracking link like this:

trackr.leadsleap.com/rk4g9psw

When posting this link to, say a thread (with id 1109948) in Warriorforum.com, you can use

trackr.leadsleap.com/rk4g9psw/wf-1109948

If you post in another thread with id 1099721, you can use

trackr.leadsleap.com/rk4g9psw/wf-1099721

Similarly, if you are tracking your email responses, you can use different tracking source for different email.

In the tracker we can submit our leadsleap ref.link and create a tracking link (like we do while shortening URLs) and then bend it to our use. Other than this we can't just simply know where from our referrals came.

[edit]But still it tracks the clicks only, not sign ups. So thete is no way we can know.[/edit]

Just saw this today on their blog.

Quote:
When someone signs up, you want to know where that traffic comes from and through which landing page.

This information is now available to you.

Go to My Referral Stats, look under Level 1 Referral Details.

You can now see the source and landing page for every referral.

Please note that we only started this tracking system 3 weeks ago. Hence members who joined before 4th May will not have any record.

Also, it took us some time to fine-tune and adjust the stats to make them more user-friendly. Hence you may see slight variations in the format of the traffic sources before 25 May.

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?

Are they monitoring us? :-?
It's like they listened to our suggestion about referral tracking.. :)

..which is a big plus for the program btw. I'm already feeling more confident about it.
It's a good thing to see an admin trying to improve his services instead of just sitting back and waiting for the cash to flow on its own..

Two updates, one is my stats and the other is site related (kind of my stats too.)

1) My earnings just started to grow. Previously the rate of accruing credits was normal so my credits conversion earnings and daily revenue share were almost equal. Now I started accruing credits faster because of referrals, so the conversion happens more frequently.  :money :money  :cool1

2) Some external visitor clicked an ad from the widget in my blog and whoa.. I got 6 cents weekly share for generating that traffic (?).  :handsdown

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?
Post by SolidSnake on 6th Jun, 2016 at 4:01pm
Firstly, thank you for the update! :)

Questions:
1) What kind of rate are we talking about?

How would that simplify in a :

daily_earnings / per_referral

kind of ratio..?

(Just simplify that from an  average_total_daily_earnings / total_number_of_referrals division in order not to publicize your stats if you don't feel like..)

2)You haven't happened to ever use AdHitz, right?

Their rates average from $0.04 to $0.12 per click on your banners.. :)

Title: Re: What do you think about LeadsLeap?
Post by venkat on 6th Jun, 2016 at 4:26pm
I could put it like this.

Previously I used to accrue 50 credits in 5 or 6 days, from my own 10-ad-surfing and my referrals'. Now it's just 3½ or 4 days.

Hmmm. To put it like the way you expected .... 15 cents / 77 referrals = 0.19 c per referral (per 5 days, so $0.0004 per day or less.) Just 5% overriding credits, so if a referral surfs 10 ads he/she would earn 5 credits average. My share would be .25 credit (5%). Even if all 77 stay active my share would be somewhere near 15 credits per day from all of them. (But I am getting around 5 credits a day from them)

[Edit]Previously I didn't intend to use AdHitz, but now I should consider it.[/edit]

My guess is they will go after affiliates next. In the link I posted about the issue she said paypal is not just going after sites that pay commissions but also those that earn commissions. So it looks like the days of paypal being in our industry are numbered

My cash levels are being kept very low at pp now. Only enough to cover ads. I was building it up in order to diversify but I will keep all my cash on CS (where the bulk of my PP money is) until I need it.

I hope CS brings in BTC soon. That would be awesome. Plus, it would probably benefit them since people will again easily be able to cash out of CS and spend their money instantly for advertising on many of the sites that no longer have PP.

CS is being very short sighted on this issue but I believe we will see a change by next year some time

Looks like Payza and Bitcoin are the leaders in the GPT world..
Thankfully Bitcoin does not go by any rules and Payza is yet quite open for advertising sales.

I just hope Payza will hold their GPT friendly face in the future.
It's already been conquering the industry, by gaining the ground that PayPal leaves behind.

So, Venkat are you able to at least withdraw through Payza?

Thankfully Bitcoin does not go by any rules and Payza is yet quite open for advertising sales.

I just hope Payza will hold their GPT friendly face in the future.
It's already been conquering the industry, by gaining the ground that PayPal leaves behind.

So, Venkat are you able to at least withdraw through Payza?
I remember that you couldn't fund it..

I don't think it is so much paypal as the US government. Since PP is based in the US, they have to follow stricter rules as the US banks have a lot more power to control the 'competition' than do foreign banks.

Payza is based outside the US I recall so they have a lot more freedom to work with who they choose.

It seems the limit has been removed. (Not likely to be added. The admin says that the limit has been removed on a condition not to add on the site.)

I hope I can withdraw via payza. Yet, it is another mess. The funds that I have in USD could be used with merchants who accept USD whereas I could fund in INR only, which I can use with INR merchants only. (Two separate wallets inside my payza account.) There is not conversion available within payza like PayPal.

That's odd. I never had any problems converting USD to EUR in Payza. Must be some INR-specific thing.

Wow!

Have you looked at these guys lately?

They have taken a huge step forward. Free trackers, free autoresponders, free landing pages. They really get it. Give the base tools away for free and as your people grow and get hooked on your tools, they will move to upgrades.

I thought $27 was expensive for an upgrade but if you click ten ads per day they share revenue with you so that lowers the cost of the upgrade.

They also have a great tracker/PPC ads system that you can run your pages on. It detects if your clicks are bots and track if you are getting clicks on your links in your main page. Very impressive. I'm getting about 1 PPC per every 1500 pages or so which seems accurate and is a great way to supplement DLF page views.

The opt-in pages are very easy to build if you just know a little of site editing. If you can use a page editor, you can easily build their landing pages with an opt-in form.

This is even better than the old fiendcat referrals that Dan and I used to rave about.

All the credits and tracking seems honest. The admin must be a guy who has seen all the scams on the web and has answered to all of them in finally giving the tools that the average web marketer needs to build his online business.

With this, the DLF referral contests and the rise in price of BTC, I think I finally have something I can promote on Neobux. Not since the demise of clixsense have I felt this confident in a system. Also, they pay to ten levels for.

To be perfectly honest I'm a bit lost with all that, since I haven't used many of those tools. What's an autoresponder and for what do you use it.

At the very least, it's safe for SS to be there.

An autoresponder is that form you see that asks you to submit your name and BEST email (and we won't sell your info ;D).

It's one of the best tools in marketing because you can have someone opt-in to your email list and you can market them over and over as long as they know what's coming.

You can offer them a training course or offer to show people your five best sites and how they make you $1000 per month. And within those emails you can send them to another opt-in list.

Upgrades get a 50% commission on their referral upgrades so it only takes two for your own upgrade to be free.

Day one of the revenue share surfing bonus was 10 cents.

So it looks like the revenue share works out to about 10 cents per day. That equals about 1 cent per ten clicks.

Hmmm, that seems familiar.  ;D

So the real benefit of the site is the ten referral levels. That is one of the few sites left that still gives this benefit. The catch is you need 20 first-line referrals to trigger lower levels. I can do this but it will take effort. I think the passive link tracker will help. If income grows then maybe I'll allocate funds to promoting the site directly.

Well, here you go. It's not a mailing list but it looks promising.

Just plug your username into the place where it says "LeadsLeapUsername".

If you click on the 'free system' link he explains how to set it up. I'm going to test it because I'm not exactly sure how it works. I think it will generate signups though.

Apologies Dan, I didn't see this question.

Yes, you do. The ads you do for sure because I got a lot of credits for blasting my ad. I'm not sure about the referral link because I have been using this link:

https://reducethehype.com/llps/?r=LeadsLeapUsername Which works excellent I can tell you. Just replace LeadsLeapUsername with yours.

The ratio isn't high but there are some. Figuring out how many is a bit convoluted because everything is everywhere. Also, they update the PPC earnings once per week on Fridays.

Here is a rundown of how you earn. The biggest is your ten-level downline once you get that rolling everything else falls into place:

Personally, I think the better strategy is to bank your credits and encash them later at least until your downline grows. When you earn 50 credits you can turn them into cash.

So Dan,

I know I only clicked ten ads yesterday but here are my stats:

Today's Clicks
36

Today's Credits
8.13

PPCs
22

This came out of my ad network. I have the page running in a few places but this demonstrates that you do get credits from different activities,

The referring also seems 'honest'. I picked up three referrals yesterday also. When you upgrade you get random referrals too so this looks like an honest program that is trustworthy. I guess that is why it is 12 years old.

No, it's not there. It was made by one of the members and I think it is his private site. I don't know what his motivation is either other than having one himself and helping out other members. I do see he has a link to his site at the bottom so maybe he is benefitting from that traffic and the fact that his ads are running on LL

This is his link at the bottom which is an affiliate oriented promotion site http://reducethehype.com/

Now if you think about it, it is pretty smart. He gives out the site with his link at the bottom. Then all these people use the site and pass it on to others. They are giving him a free promotion of that link at the bottom. He could have hundreds or thousands of people doing that.  :money

Did you set up the tracker link?

If not then go here to set it up:

https://reducethehype.com/llps/system.html

Then when you have it set up the stats will accrue under the tracker link at LL.

https://leadsleap.com/members/trackr.links.php

It's important to set up the tracker according to the instructions because that is how you will generate your earnings and pop-ups.

If the tracker is the only thing you are promoting then your stats will show in various places like your dashboard, your PPCs stats, and your follower stats.

Wow! It's been over a year since we talked about this. Well, I stuck with it. I've found a good way to promote it after the trouble they gave me for sending direct (what they consider bulk) hits to the referral page. They have been constantly improving their site which is a great sign. They recently made some very informative banners and, thanks to the recent sale at PV/PTCS, I was able to buy a ton of banner ads. This is producing a little success. You also might call it infinite success because the cost of the banner ads were paid out of earnings, so essentially free as I like to say. The great news is I have at least one upgraded referral and at two upgrades that pays the cost of my upgrade. Then, all the perks like random referrals are paid for and extra earnings are free money to be used for advertising

So my upgraded downline person is obviously dedicated to marketing which is the type of person that will stick long term. I've referred someone who is bringing in referrals and this week I just got my first third level referral. So the downline (which is ten levels deep potentially) is taking on a life of its own apart from my own work.

If things continue to be fruitful I may step up the marketing of this. The new banners offset any risk of promoting their pages in PTCs and they are cheaper than PTC ads anyway. I think a lot of PTC people can use the tools, the banners seem to be doing well, and he sends out a lot of 'training' emails which just draw people in. I love the sites that keep in contact with their referrals in order to keep them 'awake'. When the site takes on the responsibility of moving our referrals forward it helps those who don't have that ability and moves us all toward success.

A final point is that I'm promoting DLF there and am seeing a sign up once in a while too. So from the free banners at PTCS there are referrals gained at DLF. Compound growth. That's how an ad machine should work  :)

The co-op is brand new so they just gave their people more outlets to promote. They did have another issue because they weren't letting people send 'bulk traffic' which was traffic above a certain volume level. It didn't matter if the traffic was good traffic like something from PTCS or Neobux, they were just concerned with the volume. They errantly assumed volume = lower quality. If I sent 100 clicks per day from neobux, that was OK. If I sent 100K from Neo per day - which is easily doable - they considered that bulk traffic even though it was the same traffic. This was not logical and it stifled the amount of traffic they got. It's amazing how many PO's shoot themselves in the foot like that based on a false paradigm or belief system.

The co-op changed that rule. They accept any traffic to the co-op, analyze the quality, and pay relative to that. They should have done that from the start. So I think this is why the traffic has increased. I've gone from promoting only banners (because they weren't affected by the volume rule) to sending 400 page views per day via PTCS. I could start sending via Neo but I'm not sure how they will react to a flood of traffic. Usually, when you do that and become successful, the rules 'change'. So I will take it easy at this point and build up.

Gradualism always works best in these scenarios and I'll let the PO prove their integrity before I start spending my money in a big way.

I'm here to earn a profit with them, not for them.

I've entered the 'credit encashment' phase of my growth. Basically, if you can earn 50 credits per day from yourself or your referrals, you can cash these in. It starts at 10 cents per day. So I'm close to earning 10 cents every day which at this point will lower my monthly upgrade cost. I also have one upgraded downline who I assume has joined for the tools the site offers so it seems that person will be a long-term upgrade. With two upgrades your own is paid for.

If I can get my encashment up to 30 cents per day (150 credits, not a hard thing for me to do) then my upgrade and all that goes with it (random referrals, free credits, etc.) is paid for.

There is also a co-op payout once per week on Fridays. I haven't seen how lucrative that will be yet.

I might try some test marketing on Neo soon to see where this can go.

I'm very optimistic about this.

So, from my understanding, they reduced the multilevel referral earnings in order to increase the surfing earnings?

If that is really bad they mention these:

Quote:
Coop traffic now accounts for 77% of our total traffic.

Quote:
We will monitor the impact of these changes for a week. If there is no significant negative impact, it will be final.

Well, if you own a big part of that and pause delivering traffic for a week.. they might see the drop and maybe consider reverting the changes. ::)

The multilevel referral earning probably won't affect most people. I only have 2% of my referrals on my third level and I'm a pretty prolific promoter so it is essentially a 'tax' on the big dogs. They should make it up in traffic credits though which is what many of the big dogs can take advantage of

I haven't reported on this in a while. Things are going well. As I suspected if people join to get the business tools and upgrade, they are most likely to stick. I have one upgrade but he pays consistently. I get 50% commission so he is paying half my pro upgrade. Earnings from co-op promotion and other paid-to benefits pay for the other half of my upgrade so I am now cash flow positive there and growing a downline. As a pro member I get free referrals so my team is growing.

Co-op earnings have stayed consistent after the first trial run and he seems happy about the results. The referral rate per click is going well

I am thinking about test marketing in a bigger way to see if it will continue to grow. This is always the dicey part as this is when the results and the rules change. I hope it doesn't this time. It's time to test the next level. Please don't fail me this time  :beatup

Are you talking about clicks or banner / text impressions?

Cause there's a difference between 100K actual clicks onto your site and just 100K impressions whether or not the visitors actually clicks on the banner / text link.

I agree. I always thought impressions meant banner + texts.

Perhaps, he should say clicks, hits or even views.
