Title: Litecoin (LTC)

So, now that Bitcoin has got plenty of publicity, what do you think about Litecoin?

I've started monitoring it and it seems that it's also on a wild ride.. and its smaller value makes it also interesting.

A few days ago it was at ~$150 and now it's ~$200.. do you think Bitcoin helps it shine?

Yes I do since LTC is a derivative of BTC. I'm thinking the wise thing to do is adopt what the PTC community adopts. They seem to have a good grasp of where the main stream adoptions are going in the crypto space

It's alive.. it's alive.. it's aliiiiiiiiiive! :D

Now how do I get some? :)

It seems Payza does not support it yet so I need an actual wallet.

I joined Bitstamp but they seems to be asking for a lot of verification documents before I'm able to trade.

Is coinbase any better? Or is there a simpler alternative solution?

I don't know of simpler. They all seem to do that but it is OK. They are just protecting you.

Do you have a credit card? Are you able to use it at coinbase? If so you could buy some there and then deposit that to FC. From there you could cash out and redeposit in order to build up your LTC income. It might take a while but it would grow organically that way and would be a way to dollar cost average into it.

I'm not planning to directly deposit.. more likely to exchange money I already have in my Payza USD or BTC.
BTC should be easier.. that's if they let me create an address without verifying my account..

The problem with the verification is that the past few years I have moved to my father's house and no bill is on my own name anymore.. plus we live outside the city so there's no standard mail being delivered here.

I can only use a P.O. box with my address.. which most payment processors do not accept.
So, there are a few difficulties in verifying myself using paperwork.. which I am trying to avoid.  :-/
