Standard members are limited to 10 program listings while upgraded members may add up to 30 program listings.

I currently only have 6 banners on the page. Although I get to benefit from each click to the banners (i.e. paid to promotes, referring page credits, etc...). Not to also mention I also have the BoB exchanger on that page, giving me another incentive to promote it.

When I first joined last Dec 2019, they only had about 400+ members, now it's hovering around 700. So they seem to be going through a rejuvenation. And its current owner has been the owner only since Oct 2017 and she seems to be doing a good job.

And they also have a Forum whereas there seem to be good comradery going on in there:

Just use their banners. They are one of the cheapest forms of advertising and the ones they created are super effective

I've done my part but it is a popular program. I think it just needed to get into the community. I'm not winning the PTP contests. Some of those people are putting up big numbers. I just hope the PO is honest about the numbers because this should get big and then those numbers people are earning will get big too

Another thing I like about the PO is that she listens to ideas. She doesn't arrogantly dismiss them like most POs do when a suggestion is offered. The PO of clixsense was like that and that is what turned his site into a $10 million asset when he sold it.

If she continues to be responsive to members, she will benefit too

This is an interesting example of exponential growth:

I had the apple banner running at adhitz for a test. With one dollar per day, I was averaging one referral per day. Not bad.

Today I upgraded my budget to make it $2 per day. I get home and...BOOM!...notifcations for 5 referrals!  :o

It is only one day but another encouraging thing was that the time of the notifications were one every hour. So it only took 5 hours to run through my clicks to get these. If that is the case then there is room to grow

The cost per referral drops from 90 cents to 30 cents each (if you factor in the 10 cent signup bonus they pay) plus I should win the referral contest which is another 2.50 for the week

They also have a good splash page, an incremental earnings banner, forum, affiliate page where you could add your banners on it, an attentive admin, different ways to advertise or earn and so forth. It seems to be well rounded in that aspect. :)

One thing this site does really well is PTC advertising. you can select so many things when you buy a PTC ad. You can choose how many hits per day and how many per hour. This makes advertising R4A especially effective since you are lowering the chances of getting the same clicker twice. You can spread your hits out through the day and increase your 1st tier hits.

The site is still small so currently the benefit is not highly effective but as it grows this benefit will increase in value

After testing it is sort of a mixed bag. What is good is very good. What is bad is very bad. The admin just wrote on the forum recently that their personal life is crashing down around them. This is usually a red flag but I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt and drop it to a yellow flag.

These problems, however, are causing traffic and ads to be delayed and not checked. This could lead to problems going forward.

So I've tried PTC, PTP, rotator, and banner ads.

The PTC is working fine and creating great ratios at R4A. I will say that the ad was approved before the admin announced their troubles so I don't know if it will be easy to get a new ad approved. This could also be a huge opportunity for those who do have ads approved since they will have less competition

About the time of the troubles, I submitted the PTP ad. I had to put in a ticket to get it checked and approved. All was well but I only got 14 hits the first day and then it stopped. I put in another ticket for that and have yet to hear so I suspect the troubles have caught up with them and they are now swamped. So PTP advertising is not going good

The rotator is the same. I put in an ad and am still waiting for approval. I won't send a support ticket until I hear better news in the forum for the owner. Not good.

Banners are working but, once again it was banners placed before the troubles so I don't know how well new ones will go. I would recommend banner advertising there. They place the banner in prime RE and my banner click ratio is acceptable

Update on the rotator: she was able to get the ad approved today. Not only does it provide a good amount of traffic but of 300 clicks at apple, 247 of them registered at DLF so that is a pretty good size draw. I've had it as low as 50% clicks registered at DLF so this could be a cheap way to participate in the contest

Correction. In keeping with my pledge to use site earnings buy site products, I have bought another month of the random referral pool. I didn't think those would be available again since the pool was full in the recent past. I still consider those a pretty good buy

We've had some delays in payments with the subsequent 'family/personal medical distress' excuse (I have no reason not to believe this). Not we have just encountered the "website down via xxxxx attack". At least they didn't pull the old DDOS attack:

Backing up data daily (at least) is website 101. That's been the standard for more than two decades easily.

My question is why would someone want to break in and delete everything? What do they gain from that? Surely it is not some competitor. The site only had 1400 members and it is not like they are paying much more than the average PTC.

Sadly, I am not happy about being right this time. I'm glad I followed my gut and held back promoting. Something just didn't seem right. The earnings were just too good to be true.

There is a reason the big ones are big but don't seem to pay much. They have been around and crunched the numbers. This is why you always need to be cautious with the new ones. You don't know if they have thought out the business plan thoroughly.  :-/

She did seem to talk alot about her personal problems in the forum. I tried to discourage her a little saying something to her twice, once in the forum and once even in a support ticket, stating something along the lines of "don't feel you have to state your personal problems in the forum, to justify why you may be a day or two late in doing this or that, if needed, the members could wait".

Which I think was a good constructive point. Cause not only could it scare some advertisers away, but also a question of karma. The more you talk about your problems with more people, the more it could become magnified. Alright, if needed, just talk it out with few of your close ones, but just not in a public forum.

Besides shouldn't a net marketing forum focus more on the net marketing aspects and not necessarily on personal problems? ::)

I had 351 referrals out of 1400 members before I paused. A new percentage record. I was ready to be the kingmaker but they weren't ready to be the king.

Most came from R4A.

So now I'm down to promoting R4A, paidverts, and DLF. DLF is the only weak/speculative one. The other two are two of the strongest horses in the industry.  :) This is good because now I can concentrate my promotions again. All three of these pay me to promote either by PTP or by contest/referral bonuses.

For some reasons, I did see that some of the long time members of other similar PTC, PTR and PTP programs seem a little reluctant to join Apple PTC. To the point that the Apple PTC admin was encouraging her members to post payment proofs in some of the other forums. Almost as if she wanted to prove or show them something or set the record straight, etc. Now I don't know if that was a reflection of the Apple PTC program itself, which had been around for about 10 years, or of the admin herself?
