When PTCBox died I finally took the plunge into Neobux. That was a big mistake. I was drawn into their rented referral program and golden upgrades.

Since then I have been breaking even in it trying to push my RR's further down the time track. Fortunately I was able to recruit a hundred plus direct referrals so they are helping me to keep my RRs but I am definitely not pleased with the program.

Their advertising is OK but since the demise of PTCBox it seems everyone wants to use NB for their advertising so they are becoming quite saturated. Another frustrating thing is that they limit the amount of direct referrals you can have. This has got to be the most counter intuitive thing I have ever seen. I could probably deliver 50 referrals per month to their site but I can't because they limit me unless I spend hundreds of dollars in upgrades  Huh

We definitely need some more programs to open up that we can promote. CS and NB are pretty much the big two and it is hard to go with anything else at this point

I did take a look at BuxP but it has a porn element to it so there is no promoting it at Clixsense. It does look like a decent advertising venue though since they have a huge member base

The other site I have been exploring is Hits4pay. They deliver a decent amount of clicks per day and all of them so far have been 2 cent offers. I haven't tried to promote them yet, that is the next project

We've all been there.  I tried the renting referrals, upgrading to Golden.  That's back when the required daily ads were paying 1 cent instead of the 1/10-cent.   I dropped the referrals and let the Golden expire.  But, I still have to click daily to earn from my referrals.

My regular non-ptp sites are ClixSense, Linkgrand, Wordlinx, Hits4Pay and DealsNCash.   I've been w/ Hits4Pay since 2004.

I load PTCBox every once in a while to check if the payment button's been reset.  But I'm not hopeful.  At this point, the WM would have to launch from scratch.   If he really invested what he claimed to start the site, he's not too bright.

I read somewhere that the rented referrals at Neobux are bots.  If we really had solid referrals in the rental system, SOME of them would click their four daily.  But most aren't clicking in multiples of four.   Some click one or two, but most don't click.  I had 200 once, and let them go when the recycle cost wasn't keeping up with the income.

A couple of days after PTCBox died I faced the urge to reuse neobux.. but thankfully I didn't allow myself.
Any calculation I did with what they're offering led me to loss instead of profit. And I wasn't willing to invest a thousand to get ultimate and rent refs that are possibly bots..

As for direct referrals, limits don't count for me as I've been a member there since the beginning.. but still I consider it extremely expensive to get referrals for neobux nowadays so I looked away. Besides, I remembered that I've hated it for so long to suddenly like it again..  Grin

I used buxpal which fell into the same hole with PTCBox.. paypal limitation.
I joined ClixSense (i now wonder why I was never fond of it.. it would have been a great money maker if I had joined early)
but I had kind of a hard time to get referrals for it.

And then I found StillSleeping's ptc promising and decided to stick to that for now.
I've had a lot of support from him so far and feel good with the site.

My direct maximum at Neobux is over 300, but I can't seem to keep them.  I'm advertising Neobux a few places.  I don't like it nearly as much as I used to before they changed the daily required clicks to 1/10-cent.  I don't think free members get referral earnings on those 1/10-cent clicks.  So unless they're lucky enough to spot a 1-cent ad, there's not much in referral earnings.  But no earnings unless you've clicked their ''orange ads'' the day before.  Member stats show the total number of referral clicks, but not total referral earnings.

Sadly for me, I wasn't able to profit from PTCbox (had a $150 balance in there that meant the difference between profit and loss).
After it went down, I just continued with my other PTC sites: Neobux, Clixsense, CashNhits and Clique.com.pt (portuguese site).
Without doubt Neobux is the one I'm earning more, but that's because I'm an ultimate there. I did think about trying to try out another site to replace PTCbox, but I ended up staying like I was. Better focus on the good sites than trying to branch out uncertainly.

Any idea why people are still promoting PTCBox?   I just clicked on an ad at Wordlinx.  I hate seeing people spend more money advertising.

My balance in PTCbox keeps on increasing, which means people are clicking. Haven't been keeping check on the referral count (2nd level) but I think I gained some, too.

My balance is still increasing too, but not as fast as when the site paid.  I'm withdrawing my advertising.  Mostly banner impressions these days.

Why are sites approving the ads? That seems a little dishonest. If it were a ponzi scheme they wouldn't approve the ad. PTCB is not much different. It is at least a non-payer  Sad

Well first of all any promotion of PTCBox now is a total waste as admin has disabled sign-ups.
Whoever reaches the signup page will see this message : "We do not accept new members at this time."
So now, it's not possible that your downline continues to grow too. Any new additions have been made since before then.

Secondly, my balance keeps on increasing too but it's also no point as there is absolutely no way to redeem it.
Both payment and advertising options have been removed or disabled. Just to help my direct downline, I've sent a mass message through the internal messager stating that PTCBox is almost closed, so they shouldn't have to continue working on it.

Other sites don't deal much with what PTCBox is.. it looks like a PTC so they won't really search what it is, just approve the ad.
It is the members who should be doing some research on what they invest into..
They should have been reading the announcements, if not the forum or even Google..
It is an unsafe industry to work on so we need to be doing a lot of research before working on such programs..

Meanwhile my upgrade at PtcBox has ended. My upgrade status shows 'Expired' and I get 0.5 cent per click, but still I'm able to access the Messenger, Chat and Tracker.

My upgrade (lifetime) is still giving me 10-cent links.  But it's just play money now.

I've started a blog at CashNHits, and am weighing whether to put PTCBox, MatrixMails and FusionMails in the scam section.    Until they start paying, that's how I think of them.

Put them in the dead sites.. section..  Smiley
Scam has another meaning.. (when a suspect dies you can never figure out if he was guilty or not..)

Is FusionMails connected to any of the other two? (I've never worked with that at all..)

FusionMails (PTP) along with Raremails (Affiliate Pages) were strong sites before their server crash.   You'd request payout, and KNOW you'd get the money.  They hadn't backed up their sites, so they had to return to a old backup.   Raremails never came back, so all the members with affiliate pages lost out.  They kept saying they'd do something about the affiiate page owners, but years later, still nothing.   Now, no payments for months.  PTP sites are starting to ban them.
