Scheduled Maintenance
5 Aug 2016 03:39 pm
Members on Saturday August 13th at 3am EST the ClixSense website will be taken offline for maintenance. We will be adding new servers to help with our growth and at the same time migrating data to these new servers. We estimate that we can bring the site back online by 7pm EST on Saturday August 13th.

We apologize for the length of time we will be offline but this upgrade is necessary and will help ensure that as we continue to grow you do not experience a slowdown in our website performance.

Thank you

Clixsense is under a DNS attack. Believe me, if you have not been there today YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO.

Well, thankfully I didn't go there, only read about the update.. so based on what the admin says the database was not touched so no much of a big deal, except a few thousands fixed ads views that were missed for the advertisers.

On the other hand, yesterday night my house was broken into and they got my laptop, tablet and a few other small valued things..

So they didn't hack clixsense but they DID hack my house.. last night was kind of rough as I had to deal with the police research that will probably lead nowhere and I had to change all my passwords on every important site I work on.. and there was sensitive data on it, but fortunately everything was backed up.

So, today wasn't my best of days either..  Smiley
At least they didn't touch my main computer nor my guitars.. so that's something positive.

You can get back into the site now.

go here

https://www.google.ca/search?q=ClixSense&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&gws_rd=cr&ei=XaLMV7Xh...

or do a google search and click on the cached version. Then you can navigate the site from those old links

SS,

Do you have any trackers on your computer that will notify you if it goes online. There was one called lojack (I think that was the name) a long time ago but since you use yours for biz you might want a tracker of some sort. It is probably tax deductable

How to click on the cached version? Thanks.

Typically cached versions are not live, just saved previous non-functional states of the site..

So there shouldn't be a way to click ads and get paid before it's back online.

I messed around a bit and found that http://www.clixsense.com/en works fine.

But if you dont use the /en you still see alot of naked men lol.

And that sucks solid. Hope it all works out eventually.

Edit:

Clicking CTRL+SHIFT+DEL and then deleting all your history solves the problem.

Hi pennywise. I find that link to work for me as well. Thanks. And also deleting the cookies and uninstalling and reinstalling the ClixAddon bar.

True, but I was able to click the login link from there and log in to the live version

The site is down again though. Bad gateway it says
