This sounds good. Jordy is taking up the co-op banner(pardon the pun) for now. You might want to test out his referral making abilities. He will also sell down to a week in time for $2.5 and is working with a partner apparently

I'm not sure how long I will have the co-op 'off' for. My job is getting really shaky so they have cut back our hours. I need to focus on building up my cash flow. I had been giving away a good portion of my referrals to the co-op.

On the positive side, the low-end job market is booming which is all I'll really need if I lose this one but until then there is the concern of getting from point A to point B. If the PTC industry weren't so unreliable with just about every aspect of it crashing with regularity, then maybe I would be willing to take on more risk. Until then I need to play a more conservative economic game both on and offline.

I'm not getting any younger  Sad

So I go into work and we are all handed layoff notices.   Huh

Things were a bit shakier than I thought  Smiley

Well, it looks like point A is done  Undecided

Right now I have the ad filter to the lowest value possible, to get the most amount of ads possible, even if they're worth almost nothing. Why?
Simple. I want to reach 10000 ads viewed so that I can double my daily BAP bonus. After that I can set the filter to more reasonable values  Wink

Ah, good idea. This is one of the intangible ways that those bonuses can increase the traffic around the site

So a good way to grow your BAP right now is to take your cash earnings, buy shares and then sell for BAP

Even at the market rate, you can get a good return

$1 buys you 714 shares with change left over. You can sell those shares right now for 5 BAP which will give you 3391 BAP after fees. The value of those BAP, when turned into ads, is $1.61 after commissions. So that will give you a 61% return on your $1 spent. Plus it will help you climb the BAP levels even faster

I think that $1 is better spent on bulk ads.
For 1$ you get 2400 BAP plus advertising, as well as exemption from daily BAP tax for 10 days, so it's a total of 3400 BAP.

Of course, if you have already some bulk ads purchased and have extra cash on hand, it's an okay way to earn from it.

True, at $1 you don't overcome the tax but at a higher exchange of $10 or $20 or whatever, you make out better starting at $2. I was using the one dollar to give a simple example of the ROI you get but that allows you to figure multiples better

So they changed their minds after getting at least one more contract extension. We are still fired but they gave us the opportunity to become independent contractors. The job is there, it changes a bit - some for the better, some for the worse - and I have to take on a bunch of debt to buy equipment. I'm not too happy about it but I still have a job. That buys me time so I'll take it for now.

A nice bonus is that because they had to fire us to make us ICs, they have to pay out severance to us. So that will help with some of that debt and my new expenses

So hope springs eternal!

Phew
