New SQL Injection attacks
31st Jul, 2014 at 6:48pm

It's weird but today morning we had another bunch of SQL injection attacks on the forum's registration form..
A bot network using about 20 different IP addresses (all banned now) tried several SQL injection scripts in our registration fields.

And it's rather funny to think that this forum is not based on SQL at all and it doesn't exactly have such a database to penetrate it with such methods..

In case someone experiences login problems or his IP is blocked for any reason please use our Contact Form.

And since yesterday there were some more SQL injection attacks this time targeting our click tracker..

I implemented a mechanism that uses much less processing power for upcoming attacks and also just for the fun of it, it will redirect the hackers to this pageGrin

Well.. first day after implementing the new look.. we got these :

...

We can actually learn new hacking patterns here..    Shocked Roll Eyes Tongue

The attacks seem to be coming from US which is unusual but probably behind a proxy so they may be located elsewhere..

Of course all of them were redirected to that 9GAG page above just for the fun of it..  Grin
