Well, the only thing I feel is wrong with what he does is hiding the banner network ads at the bottom and keep them separated in a way that if someone doesn't try to scroll down by guessing that there's missing content they only receive dead views..

Btw, I do have those ads at the bottom of the ads page but they are clearly connected to my page's layout.. I don't have an empty space just to keep it clean and separated from them.. plus I have them showing up in my home page and my forum as well..

This guy designed his site to show up as simple as possible for focused advertising while leaving little clue that there's more content below it.. while he could have them showing up right under what he's advertising.. there's a lot of space there and he could make a layout that would allow it to look well organized even with those banner ads.

The idea is not bad, it's the implementation that makes it an abuse..
