Forum Rules Update
19th Oct, 2015 at 11:31am

I decided to loosen up the signature rules in the forum so now all members are allowed to use an image in it (with referral link on it).

You can read the updated Forum Rules here.

So, that would be an interesting exposure when I'm advertising the forum around from now on.

Please stick to the rules and feel free to add your banner/referral links!

Well it is allowed but the image is not loaded correctly.. I've been trying to figure out a way to fix this and I'm close.
So I'll let you know once it works..

And YES! It's done!  Smiley

And it works in signatures too..

So, what you have to do is type the following :

[bob]your_referring_id[/bob]

and it will show your banner space normally! Smiley

Remember to only include the number of your referring id.
You don't have to enter the whole link.

This example also shows that anything but an integer between the two "bob" tags will render it useless..

We'll have to check now if it will slow down the page load when used in signatures because it will get loaded multiple times..
But I don't think there will be a problem..

Also I don't know if they allow multiple members showing their banner space on a single page so we may have to look that up in their T.o.S.

Either way, I'll remove my own from the top of the forum since I have it on my ads page, so I don't really need it showing up here.

For me it's the opposite. I'm seeing it in the forum but not private messages.

The Recent Posts page does not show signatures to save space and loading time so it's normal to not see them there.. Smiley

Apart from there they show up in threads and PMs.
