Not the best of ideas since it only uses CPU mining which is really slow.
If you would like to try it, better not do so on a laptop because due to poor temperature management it will probably end up dead much earlier than normal.
To also be able to use the computer and prevent it from hanging you should also not use the total amount of threads available in the CPU.
If it's a quad core with 8 threads then use only 6 or 7 or use 70-80% of all threads, you'll have to use an application to keep an eye on your CPU's temperature levels.
However CPU mining is not that effective generally..
Etc, on my Phenom II 965 @ 3.75 GHz quad-core I get a bit less than 40 H/s with 4 threads.
When running with my GPU I was getting ~800 H/s and the earnings using a pool were still too little to justify the efforts.. we're talking about less than $0.50 valued coins per day, and it's kind of random.
Plus the driver kept on crashing, so I couldn't use my PC while mining and I had to restart the application every once in a while.
I quit because I didn't wanna kill my graphics card cause that's too precious to lose..
It's an easy way to try it though without the hassle of setting it up and see how profitable it is [..not]...
I will let it run for a while since I'm not home right now just for the fun of it.
