Yep, you got the referral contest also. Congrats, man!  Smiley

We got a tie?!  Smiley

And they dropped the prize to $10 (from $15) before splitting it? Huh

Either way even half that prize was unexpected so it's a nice bonus!  Money

I think he lowered it to $10 permanently.

My latest:

...

Simple yet sublime.

I get about 1 click in 500 at PV.

I think it works well because the downline isn't clearly spelled out on the home page. They have to click on the compensation page to understand. I've had five signups so I assume those are people who will dig for info and stick once they see that it costs them nothing to join and might be a long term benefit

Feel free to use since it helps the whole team

Nice! I like how simplicity works in a weird yet successful way sometimes! Smiley

Btw, I made another run for the promoter contest, only this time I aimed for the second spot (and I'm already there), since I noticed that it was below 7000 points, which is more or less what we get in a full 24h campaign in R4A that costs just $5.

Smartas made sure to stay above 15000 this time so it's not worth the cost beating him.

It's a quick grab of free advertising, as I will most likely get it all back immediately, while any signups is a bonus.

Also it opens up the probability of also participating in the referral contest though I only got 1 signup so far, so that's unlikely to happen, but who knows.  Smiley

How about this one:
...

Contrasting colors do convert well from my experience.
Also, I'd prefer using the word "referrals" over "downline" as it's more popular amongst PTC users.
You can DIY similar banners at https://flamingtext.com/logo/Design-Banner
They require payment for the final product but you can easily fetch it for free via inspect element.

Good work. The lure of the contest winner board is strong  Grin

In advertising, your job is to get a basic message across to your target market. I laugh sometimes when I open a page and all this fancy flash comes up. Since adblock won't let me downnload it, it is basically useless. I'm not going to voluntarily let you advertise to me and why would I join a site that many customers will block automatically? Bells and whistles only work if they don't distract from you basic message to your target audience

I use these guys because they are free. No payments

http://www.bannerfans.com/banner_maker.php

The irony of your example was that it was blocked on this board

https://i.imgur.com/5C7i5m0.png

Imgur is picky about what shows where. The BB board coding seems to work here

Regarding the DLF referrals over downline, I think people will go crazy for either but at DLF the team downline is more like a downline IMO. Referrals usually implies personal sign ups that generate a benefit for you whereas that is not what they get for free at DLF. They still get a benefit from the team downline but it is the first level benefit of the team pool. Plus there are added benefits from getting personal referrals which can confuse the issue

It's a tough call. I want to be as accurate as possible without being misleading

Even better is to animate it. That can increase click rates rate by a couple hundred percent

Yes, hopefully, I can get a more consistent stream now. I want to raise my focus on the site since the banner seems to work. I might take a big dive and show it at R4A. If that is the case then the site could finally explode

I notice he didn't publish my name in the email. I guess he's getting a little sick of publishing the same name all the time  Smiley

Here's something I noticed...

Don't these two (?) guys look suspiciously similar while having suspiciously similar usernames as well?  Huh

Absolutely.

You would think he would focus on one so as to get a higher spot. Maybe he doesn't want to do battle with #1 guy though. And how am I in #3? I'm barely trying though I am using my PTCS credits for the site so that might have something to do with it.

It's funny how people will do that, get on a public list, and then make no effort at all to try and use some creativity regarding hiding their username.

...And maybe a fake nose and glasses...  Cool Smiley

Maybe they're just brothers? Otherwise, why would he risk it posting gravatar pictures on both of them whereas he could have just not posted any pictures at all?

Well.. the potential of having multiple accounts are awesome on this site considering they are both upgraded and the bottom account has enough multipliers.

Then the top account upgrade goes completely free and anything above the upgrade price is pure profit. Not to mention that as the site goes the profit multiplier will be multiplied x2..  Smiley

But well.. they could also be brothers just like Dan says.. only the admin could figure it out by tracking their activity.
