Ok. I just realized that I didn't reach out the cashout threshold yet, $10. I'm at $8.69. I should reach it within a month or so.

I sent out 50+ welcome emails.

Not one reply.

Smiley

I'm not sure if it is them or my horrible copywriting skills.

I can make magic with banners but anything longer just dies for me in marketing.  Dont know

Is it built in or you made your own mailing list?

BTW, I just noticed that I got a referral from promoting DLF in Mega Mail Boost.

I used the email addresses that are shown in the program.

This also made me a bit nervous because it could probably be considered UCE. That he is encouraging people to email their downlines could actually create problems. That all was enough to make me pause.

Congrats on the referral.  Smiley

Yeah, that's another aspect of the program he could have made a little more automated.

Thanks. Cool

Adhitz has been a great source of referrals. Very cost-effective. The only drawback is that they have a limited number of views so I'm going to try an experiment. I'm going to run two banners there instead of one to see if they increase the exposure like what happens at some sites where you get more exposure with each position you add. Let's hope it doubles my referral count. I got 43 last month. If I can push it above 80 that would be great.

These are some nice numbers..

What package are you purchasing there and how much does it cost?

I'm just going with their network ads. The CPC is around a nickel and my expense is over $1 per day (my budget is for $4 but they can't provide the clicks for that) but they are people who show interest in the ad so they are pretty high quality.

Last month I got 43 referrals and the cost of them at adhitz was about $42.05. Not all of them came from adhitz, of course. The rest were free traffic from YGP and PTCS, but with those referrals, I was able to win $27 in contest cash for the month so the net cost was not much. And this is all paid with compounded earnings anyway.

My net earnings after upgrades on my two positions are around $37 so I'm pretty close to breaking even, even after all advertising expenses are in.

Grin

so I doubled my ads at Adhitz and am now getting fewer referrals.  Dont know

Smiley

I'm back to one again. I can put on the second when the first runs out of clicks.

What a bizarre industry.  Cheesy

It seems that that is their threshold.. Smiley

I believe, you are already advertising to all of their network's members, thus adding more campaigns probably means you're advertising more at the same people, so maybe that's why the sign ups are not adding up..

They might also feel bombarded as well if they see your ad multiple times, so that could affect the results with a negative decline as well.

Yes, saturation is an issue. That is why I was testing sometimes when people see the ad multiple times they will think it is the sign of a good-paying site (else how could they afford to advertise?). Sometimes it backfires.

It's hard to say how many people see the ads, how big their network is, and how many new people are added every day.

Perhaps maybe one thing you can do if it becomes a pattern. Is to perhaps maybe give some time in between the ads. That after promoting it and getting some referrals is to maybe wait at least one month before you do it again.

Just when you start to get a little discouraged, this industry comes along and says, "Get up sucker. We're not quite done with you yet."

Smiley

So it looks like the referrals have started up again. I resubmitted my ads at adhitz. There may have been some technical issues that were keeping them from displaying right. It seems they are working better now.

The encouraging thing is that I now have four upgrades in my second position. So it is 8 total on 542 total. The second position only has 158 members though so the upgrade rate is better. Since I built that with the newer banner, I think that banner and his email messaging to new and non-upgraded members have increased the upgrade rate.

In any case, the sucker continues. At least I'm not paying for this hobby    Grin
