I recently tried using this website to exchange $100 worth of Bitcoin to USD in my PayPal account. Censored

The problem came when they had numerous customers send me smaller payments to my PayPal and several of them filed disputes with PayPal claiming they did not receive what they paid for.

Even though I immediately refunded their money, PayPal has my account on restriction so I can not access my funds in any way except to issue further refunds.

I am going through their process to resolve the issues, but my hopes are not too high. I think I just locked up the $500 I had in my balance for 180 days.

If you value your PayPal account, I would not risk it.

Wow.. that's sad.. Sad

That was a terrible way for them to implement a BTC-to-PayPal exchanger.. they should normally have an account where they collect the whole amount and then send it to you..

On the other hand, I've never tried one but there are lists of exchanger that include reviews from people that use them, so maybe one could only try the most reputable ones. For example a site that we have used in the past to figure out the best rates among payment processors transfers is this one:
